Dog poo knife

DH has ‘dared’ me to post this, so convinced he is you’ll be on his side…

DS stood in dog poo, DH said he scraped it off using a dinner knife out of the kitchen drawer. I said wtf - hope that knife’s in the bin now?! No says he - dishwasher, or actually kitchen sink, waiting to go in dishwasher.

AIBU to think this is a shitshow and he should have put it in the bin (if it makes a difference our knife collection is on the ‘eclectic’ side so it wouldn’t be mucking up a ‘set’ to chuck one), or is he right that a quick wash and then back in gobs 🤢 is fine?!

Gross. Burn your kitchen down and start again.

Coming on to recommend www.bmstores.co.uk/products/double-sided-silicone-scrubbing-brush-grey-3535491 as a solution to this , pointy end for recalcitrant bits, scrubby side for easily cleaned bits, does the job brilliantly, can't be mistaken for anything else, a bargain at £2.
