nice thick hair, a group of friends who know each other and are known as 'the girls', and ay sort of fashion sense.

Poppingmad123 · 10/10/2021 20:30

A sex life 🙁 OH is just not interested. Almost 5 years without it now.

Lovealovestory · 10/10/2021 20:30

a mortgage

PandoraRocks · 10/10/2021 20:32

Confidence.
A non abusive father who gave a shit.
Children.
A nice husband to create a family with (too late now).
A stellar career. Wasted my opportunities due to massive lack of point one above.
A large circle of friends.
Siblings.
Thatched cottage with roses around the door.
My life's a huge failure really. I'm in my late 50s and it's all too late.....

Sherryton · 10/10/2021 20:38

Not learning how to be something else apart from my current proffession. My greatest regret

TheBlackArt · 10/10/2021 20:39

A friendship group from school.

A loving family. My parents are wonderful, but the extended family are bastards.

Feeling comfortable in my own body

Being able to sing in tune

Bloodypunkrockers · 10/10/2021 20:48

This is a new thing I'll have to make peace with. Having no real friends.

I've been sick with Covid. Not one muffin, Starbucks, food parcel. Nothing other than the initial "call us if you need"

I'm really unwell and it's compounded by the realisation that while I spend my life doing things for others, no one gives a fuck about me

I've had to crawl to the kitchen to get water.

A flat stomach

countingto10 · 10/10/2021 21:00

A daughter.

Longer legs - am 5’1” with really short legs even for my height.

But I have a horse though which makes up for anything🥰

NoMoreBananas · 10/10/2021 21:08

Good health, my baby boy who died

purplebatbear · 10/10/2021 21:16

A father who isn't a bully.

LindaLooky · 10/10/2021 21:20

There's so much sadness on this thread. Hugs to those of you living with loss x

Athinginitself · 10/10/2021 21:22

Children and good health. Don't think I've made oeace with either but am further along than I was!

deedeemegadoodoo · 10/10/2021 21:23

A child. I’ve just turned 49, and now the pressure is off and I am too old for it to be a chance means I’m not as sad about it now.

Malvasylvestris · 10/10/2021 21:23

@amatsip

I have skin severely affected by psoriasis and it love to be able to have normal skin so I can swim, wear shorts, not feel self conscious at the state of it. I’ve had it since the age of 8 but since my 30s it’s not left I’m covered in it and all treatments have failed.
Long time lurker, literally joined just to commiserate with you... My skin is covered and sometimes it's all I can think about. Please try natural remedies eg anti inflammatory and an alkaline diet, I think i see some (very gradual) improvements.

Feeling very humbled by some of these posts x

I wish I had known that going to drama school was an option. I'm just 70 and would still love to be the next Judy Dench. Am not sure I've yet made peace with the idea it's not going to happen!

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 10/10/2021 21:27
