@Chasingsquirrels
I desperately longed for a Mr Frosty as a child and never had one. Santa gave one to my eldest DS when he was about 4 - it was VERY disappointing 😂

StartingGrid · 09/10/2021 22:38

Good hair, and on a daily basis motivation!

twoandeights · 09/10/2021 22:55

My child who passed away when very young.

dogaibu · 09/10/2021 22:56

A daughter.

But I have a girl dog who is my stand in daughter and she is fantastic 🐕

EssexLioness · 09/10/2021 22:56

A child
A mum who loved me and didn’t abuse me
A career

Shehasadiamondinthesky · 09/10/2021 23:03

No apology from the person who ruined my life and left me with a lifelong mental illness, I hoped that person would ask for my forgiveness so I could give it and move on but they are not sorry and quite frankly just do not care.

SaintCharlie · 09/10/2021 23:04

So sad that there are many comments who would want 'a loving Mum'. Me included. I'm not being judgemental at all... Maybe this is OUR chance to change that for our children.

I try every day. I try every day to be the opposite of my mother. I know that I will never be the perfect mother. I know that I have my faults. But I know that every day I love my children. So much.

Every day, I say to my children. I am PROUD of you. I LOVE you: they are the most important words in my book. I never had those words.

An elegant, swanlike neck. Mine just holds my head on. 🤷🏼‍♀️

OkOkWhatsNext · 09/10/2021 23:08

Delicate ankles

Tomatobear · 09/10/2021 23:08

A happy marriage. My DH is a total arsehole and I never thought I'd be in this position.

Thulian · 09/10/2021 23:09

They are more than the calories in one meal. There will never be a point when im prepared to sacrifice a whole meal for one.

Why not? I do this sometimes, once in a while I have a day to myself and go shopping. I have coffee and a cake in a cafe for lunch, and no other lunch - don’t want any either as I’m full.

MrsKrystalStubbs · 09/10/2021 23:10

An NT child.

HandlebarLadyTash · 09/10/2021 23:10

Any sort of talent, my mum has language & music, my sister got the languages. I have no discernable talent.

amprev · 09/10/2021 23:22

An interest in exercise.

OohThatCat · 09/10/2021 23:23

A close relationship with my family (& a decent singing voice!)

lisaandalan · 09/10/2021 23:47

A house of my own, my husband didn't want to buy, now I'm stuck living where I don't want to be. X

Nsky · 09/10/2021 23:48

A knee sitting cat.
A second husband, divorced at 37, now 59, never met my second right person, not without trying

GetMeOut22 · 10/10/2021 03:16

A family. My biggest wish was a husband, lots of kids, a house and an average stable life. For various reasons, it won't happen for me. I put on a brave face and tell everyone how much I love my career and my holidays but only because I know I need to make the most of what I have.

Cottagepieandpeas · 10/10/2021 03:20

@TracyLords

A driving licence
Sad also feeling like that tonight. I’ve got my test booked for Nov and don’t think I have a hope of passing. Flowers
MolyHolyGuacamole · 10/10/2021 03:34

Money.

Bloodybridget · 10/10/2021 03:49

The social approval and ease of being heterosexual. I'm very happy to be lesbian, but coming up against heteronormative assumptions for going on fifty years gets tiring.

Allusernamesalreadyused · 10/10/2021 04:29

A 3rd child 😒

Tianna476 · 10/10/2021 04:50

Ambition, my mantra throughout my life seems to be "If at first you don't succeed, give up"

Glad to know it's not just me!
