People announcing which fuel stations have fuel on the local Facebook page!

Kittyfairy · 04/10/2021 18:13

Rude people.

Why is everyone I encounter so rude recently? It's really grating me and making me want to stay home and never leave.

lifeturnsonadime · 04/10/2021 18:16

The SEN school system.

The fact that my intelligent, kind children have no suitable school because of their autism and sensory needs and have effectively been left high and dry by the Education system and by the lack of services in this country. Who knew that there are no psychologists in parts of this willing to work with autistic children even if you pay them.

People who are just rude or abrupt.
No need for it at all

Work.

Deciding what to have for tea every night.

wallysally · 04/10/2021 18:26

Ppl wanting to work from home so they don't have to pay for childcare...
Like it's easy to work AND look after a baby!! Ffs!

Maverick66 · 04/10/2021 18:27

Laundry .....parenting.......general cleaning.

SirChenjins · 04/10/2021 18:31

Commuting. I have realised how stupid it is for me to drive 45 minutes each way through crazy traffic to sit in an office on my own to do exactly the same work I can do at home. Fortunately I’m only doing it 2 days a week because I think I’d explode otherwise.

daisychain01 · 04/10/2021 18:33

@aquashiv

Sexism that's so ingrained due to our ovaries Never having time to have a poo.
Flowers @aquashiv you must make a New Year Resolution to always prioritise a poo, above all else, it's a game changer. Grin

My list

Pronouns - why.should.I (shaking)

People being over-critical of each other - we are all humans warts and all.

Inheritance threads - money, it's caustic and erodes the spirit especially when it was someone else's.

I like a quiet office (it used to be utterly ridiculously crowded, now it's really peaceful, social distancing between desks feels safe, and my big enticement is that 2 visits to the office = two morning spin classes. Sanity ensues!

Making dinner for my fussy children! Trying to think of things to make for dinner for
my fussy children!

@TackyJewellery

Fat, middle-aged white men swimming really fucking slowly in the ‘medium’ lane at the swimming pool and holding everyone else up.
Jeez! That is quite mean. If they were young slim and not white, would they be allowed to get away with their sub-par front crawl?
user1471543094 · 04/10/2021 18:52

Family member and her Great Reset obsession. Literally every conversation heavily involves her telling me how stupid I am. I don't know what I'm supposed to even do?? Has completely ruined our relationship and is close to ruining mine and DMs as well and she's now convinced. It's tearing our family apart.
To be honest I don't even not believe them. I just don't want to hear about it. It's like being told the date of your death.... ignorance is fuckin bliss.

DontGiveAFlyingFig · 04/10/2021 18:58

Covid, cleaning and commuting!

Fed up of PCRs, people panicking over rising cases, people not giving a flying fig and me lurching between the two.

Fed up of the monotony of cleaning, washing and ironing.

Fed up of commuting, boss wants everyone back in the office even though in the lockdown we all went paperless and managed brilliantly. We now have to be back in the office, staff morale is low and everyone is working their exact set hours Hmm

CiaoForNiao · 04/10/2021 19:00

Life.
My mental health issues.
My brother constantly phoning me to tell me how much money they are going to inherit/how well paid his new job is/how they'll be home owners soon. Just fuck off.
School making everything so flipping difficult.

SantiagoSky · 04/10/2021 19:02

Blaming "the media" or the "panic buyers" for structural issues caused by Brexit.

bobsholi · 04/10/2021 19:03

Life in general at the moment. My DS and I are suffering terribly with mental health right now and every night we go to bed dreading the next day of trying to get through work/school. Home schooling was great for us and I wish we could do it again.

Ronacorona · 04/10/2021 19:06

Phoning up misc organisations & companies and being told to "log your query online"
"Look up our website"

Think GP surgery, local council, TfL, mortgage company, and so on.

I just want to talk to someone about my query in a short succinct way. I've run out of data this month, my phone doesn't always charge up fully. Urgh, so frustrating!

the80sweregreat · 04/10/2021 19:11

People who are so quick to defend Boris Johnson and co
If this was a Labour government in charge they would be completely flamed!
Instead people are just willing to ' put up with it '
it's baffling.
