To think this guy leaving me money is so strange?

Was out last night and met a guy, brought him home and had a one night stand. Had a good night and he left this morning, I then went to work. When I got home I noticed there is a twenty pound note on the side he was 'sleeping'. He obviously does not think I'm a prostitute but why in the hell would he leave that?

AIBU to think this is very very strange?

@LST because I just wondered why anyone would do it. Why would it be fun? Not being goady. Genuinely don't get it. Though I suppose I don't 'get' tattoos, for instance, either.

As for the others: people can stick forks in their eyes, if they want to, but it would probably make them feel a bit shit. So doing something because you 'can' is hardly a good reason.

My imagination is telling me about having a shag with a stranger who might have some kind of STD, who then leaves a £20 note randomly there, making me think that he might wrongly think that I might be a prostitute. Hope that clears it up.

@WeepingWinnie because sex is fun? The vast majority of people I've slept with have been ONS and most have been fun. None terrible. I also have tattoos. I don't think we'd get on.

Because lots of people like sex and are happy to do it with people they don't know that well but find attractive

He seemed like a decent enough guy, however, 37 and no long term relationship ever he said last night so I'm assuming something is up! But no, I didn't get any bad vibes and I would never think it was the beginning of a blossoming relationship! And didnt act that way either
iMessage him and say,hey just got in and noticed you dropped £20 what's your PayPal I'll send it back to you

If he replies saying it was for last night then say, oh we have an issue then, you can't afford what I'm worth

No he knows I'm not a prostitute, I was speaking about my job last night and there's just no way. It was a one night stand there was no insinuation that I was a prostitute. And exactly, even if I was, £20 for the full night!! No he got an Uber through his account and bought a few drinks, didn't owe me a thing. Definitely not my £20.

I have his number, I'm tempted to message him and ask 🤣

I'm not too fussed about seeing him again, the sex was amazing and he was a nice guy so I'd be up for meeting for another casual 'hook up' however, 100 percent not out for anything more than that. Last night was the first time I'd had sex in 2 years and boy had I missed it. I didn't realise how much until last night Grin
