He can't breathe.

He was poorly on weds Eve with a temp. I actually posted on here about it. He's not got better. Continuous cough
Did a test on Friday. No result yet. Called 11 because we hasn't eaten for 5 days. Continuous temp for 5 days. He's so poorly. Has no energy to even sit up and watch the telly.

111 asked us to take him to emergency care
Here.nkw waiting to be seen. He can't catch his breath. He's my only child, my PFB. I can't cope. Husband isn't allowed to be with us. I'm all alone.

@Humpthree they can go downhill incredibly quickly... and then with the right meds prove incredibly quickly too.

My DS had a rare pneumonia when he was 2. Hospitalised in a hurry, and an awful sleepless night watching him struggle on oxygen. And then the right meds. 6 hours later he was toddling at full speed round the ward. It was like a miracle.

Yay! for diagnosis and treatment. Very happy to hear he ate ❤️ . Have you eaten anything OP? Hospital meal portions are tiny. Ask DH to bring you some snack/fruit.

He's been on the 02 all night and his blood pressure is low so they're giving him an IV drip

I was in a very similar situation with my dc at a few months ago. It was the scariest time of my life. Nobody was allowed in with me. Suspected Covid. I feel for you and know how you are feeling right now. I’m so glad to hear Freddie is doing so well. Sending you and Freddie a big hug, please keep updating us

Just popped in to check in on you and Freddie. They are obviously monitoring him closely and responding to how he is, you're in good hands.

Make sure you try to eat and drink, and take care of yourself as much as you can. And keep reaching out for support when you need it. Will be thinking of you both today.

Did they do a PCR test? I know you said they did a lateral flow but they’re not very reliable.
