Went to the westonbirt arboretum last night for the enchanted christmas walk through the woods. Wow, it was excellent. Father christmas was there too walking around chatting to the children. He gets around a bit, that santa.

That sounds like a beautiful place to see Santa lazawreath. Definitely worthwhile. Bet it was cold, though

In ref to my earlier post, DD was more convinced by a random tramp we met in Sussex. He reminded me of a fantastic character in 'The Box of Delights' that was a BBC serial in the eighties. Maybe, that's where she gets the brown coat idea from??

or maybe she's been watching only fools and horses- uncle albert

It was really nice, the trees were all lit up. My youngest didnt really like it but my eldest was all wide eyed.

Uncle Albert...Yep, that'll be it fgrin - what a classic. I really look forward to those repeats. In fact our Christmas and starting the year off to a good start depends on them - bit sad really. Should get out more.

Back to Santa though, my sister and partner are going to Finland and will see Santa there. DD said 'He won't be the real one either, because the real one is very busy.' 'Well let's not spoil it for Aunty by telling her what we know,' I replied.
