Male kitten arrived yesterday. Not entirely anticipated as he has a disability (congenital absence of left back paw) that meant his planned home fell through.

He is very tiny, shy, loves his food.

We would like a “proper” name. Short.

Seamus, Rory and Wilbur are in contention. We can’t agree.

Ideas very much appreciated.

Mine, when he was tiny.

I'd go for Pumpkin, as it's Autumn already.🎃

Or Charlie.

Rory works on every level. He's red, he's a little lion and then there's the irony Grin of him looking so vulnerable.

Jedidiah - beloved of the Lord. Jed for everyday. I think he needs a strong name, and one that reflects the love you will give him.

And Martin, suggested upthread, is a lovely name, too.

@KittenKong
You speak for yourself. Not everyone uses such a nasty term for a much-loved pet.

Asthenia · 20/09/2021 20:35

We have a Wilbur so I’m biased but I would say that’s my fave!
