thegreywoman · 30/08/2021 19:24

not if the dogs know the friend..

islandhoppin · 30/08/2021 19:28

I'm still here! (OP)
I'm just glad I saw her when I did. She wouldn't have been able to get in luckily.
The dogs were asleep on the sofa in the living room otherwise usually they'd have barked A LOT! 😅

Your pal is clearly unhinged for whatever reason. This is odd behaviour to say the least.

as long as you are okay... and you have people around you OP..

this is an awful situation and none of it of your making 🌸

youvegottenminuteslynn · 30/08/2021 19:36

Did the police seem to take you seriously OP? Did they suggest any next steps?

Intimidating messages, harassment escalating to in person (car park incident) and now coming to your home... she needs them having a word with her to scare her off I think.

Tiana4 · 30/08/2021 19:41

Please talk to the police again and insist they pursue it as harassment.
Once they speak to her she'll either stop
Or if she continues, she will be arrested. Harassment takes two incidences so either two missed calls or a text and missed call or voicemail or visit or anything that is attempted contact, after police effectively give her notice to stop, is sufficient for judge to find her guilty of harassment & she would get given restraining order by court. So posting about you in social media may come under that too if she persists- mention that in your complaint to police as effectively if she names you she is trying to cause you distress or encourage others to contact you for her. (Indirect contact attempts)

supadupapupascupa · 30/08/2021 19:51

I don't get what she was doing trying the door? Unlikely she was trying to break in..... is there a chance she thinks you might be unwell or something?
This is just beyond bizarre......

PandemicAtTheDisco · 30/08/2021 20:22

I'd be worried she was putting poison down for the dogs or going to damage your property in some way as she didn't seem to be coming to see you..

One of my neighbours (ex-prison inmate) did all sorts to his ex-wife, his ex-wife's new partner , his ex-wife's best friend, his ex-wife's neighbour etc.

He would snoop about in people's back gardens, he knocked over plant pots, ripped things up from the ground, pulled the washing line down, damaged cars and ripped hanging baskets down. He allegedly put poison down - which is something he threatened to do to other neighbours - but no animals were reported as getting ill.

One of the things he did was mess with Virgin boxes.

Loudestcat14 · 30/08/2021 20:24

islandhoppin What happened when you spotted her? Did she scarper or did you have to tell her to leave?

Thiscantreallybehappening · 30/08/2021 20:54

@islandhoppin

What exactly happened when you found her at your back door?
Did your dogs wake up with all the commotion?
When did you call the police and what have the police said?
Has your DP talked to her BF?
You are close to her family, what have they said?

CharityDingle · 30/08/2021 20:58

I'm curious about that too?

Thiscantreallybehappening · 30/08/2021 21:01

Are @QueenBee52 and @islandhoppin the same person?

All very odd and bizarre

QueenBee52 · 30/08/2021 21:03

Thiscantreallybehappening · 30/08/2021 21:04

@islandhoppin

One other thing OP:

What actually happened when you found her at your back door?
Have the police given you any advice?
how did she access your back door?
How are you coping with all this?

Thiscantreallybehappening · 30/08/2021 21:06

@QueenBee52

Apologies if that is the case but I am not the only poster to query it. You must admit your posts look like a name change fail.

IveGotASongThatllGetOnYNerves · 30/08/2021 21:15

Bloody hell, she's lost the plot.

Nanasueathome · 30/08/2021 21:16

Perhaps she’s the OP’s ex-friend

Fernando072020 · 30/08/2021 21:17

I think @QueenBee52 was just trying to say if someone were creeping around her kitchen, she'd notice as she's always in her kitchen (in response to the people querying how op "just happened to see" the "friend" sneaking around)

Thiscantreallybehappening · 30/08/2021 21:17

@QueenBee52

This answer made prompted me to ask the question. Why would you put this, it looks like you are the OP.

Like I said, I'm not the only poster to question it and like I said apologies if I'm wrong.
