Im more Team Lisa than Team Ant but not particularly either. Id thought thered be loads on mn about the wedding celebrations. Just wondering aloud really.

Yeah, i used to love Saturday Night Takeaway. Its become so tedious.

I remember not long ago someone on Instagram was let down for wedding make up and asked Lisa for tips or something, but anyway Lisa then rushed to the rescue and did the bridal makeup for her.
I know people who know Lisa in RL and claim she’s lovely and Ant was completely cold and callous towards her after he decided he wanted a divorce.
She took a lot of shit from Ant and was completely demonised by the press but remain dignified throughout.

A family member of mine is married to a family member of his so (pre-covid) we would sometimes see him at mutual family events like weddings. We're not particularly close but at these places we've always known him to be polite, friendly, and really quite humble all things considered. My family member and their spouse did not like Lisa but the rest of the family seemed to although the general opinion from them all after the split was they were both as bad as each other.

I think her love saved him. DP said I did this for him. He had a really rough time with his now ex wife, met me a few months on and I like to think I healed him. He is himself again now. 3 years on and we are so very happy.

I am baulking at the suggestion that Lisa has behaved with dignity.

Just yesterday she liked a tweet about poor weather in the area of the wedding. I understand her pain but she has handled herself badly throughout.

I suspect she has posted on this thread.

I don't like Ant and I feel his career should have been over after his drink driving incident.

I think Ant and Lisa both had chaotic lifestyles and Ant realised he couldn't continue to be with her if he was to get clean. I think he did the right thing.

I reserve most sympathy for Dec. I've only heard good things about him and I believe his family are thoroughly decent people. I hope he can continue with his career without being dragged down by his partner.

Yeah she liked a tweet context is everything really she had been tweeting about trying to get a tan and the weather where she is was not the greatest and a fan tweeted it was raining in Hampshire and she liked it she hasn't blasted him or posted pictures of their wedding made any comments at all she liked a tweet

Also rain on a wedding day is supposed to be lucky so im really not sure why its even an issue

What makes me angry is that Lisa had to out up with all the shit while her dad was dying and had just died. Ant could have called off the press, but let her cop it to cover up for his issues. I hope Lisa is feeling better now and has the money to do as she wishes,

I thought he failed the breathalyser because he'd been drinking the night before so hours before he got in the car with his mum to take the dogs for a walk the next morning.

It's not like he got straight into a car and drove after stumbling out of the pub. There were hours in between.

I've seen Lisa talk and she's not that nice or sweet.

And as for his new wife people often get thrown together after being colleagues or friends so nothing new there to be getting worked up about.

Ant himself said in their first autobiography they were offered a large amount of money for his wedding from various magazines but Lisa and him turned it down because (and I am paraphrasing here; they wanted a private wedding)

I am willing to bet he has a magazine deal in place this time around.

And by "both as bad as each other" I mean that they're both decent enough people but when they're together they bring out the worst in each other.

There was a video of the couple in the press today. They were leaving the church and getting into the car. The events manager was like a second skin.
