Team Lisa

The lying, cheating, drunk driving Ant McFartlan ( not a typo) can sod right off.

Lisa has a lovely new chap and hopefully he actually cares about her.

BrozTito · 07/08/2021 21:33

Anybody can do a cracking Ant impression by looking at their reflection in the back of a spoon

IHaveBrilloHair · 07/08/2021 21:34

I hope they care for each other.

dayswithaY · 07/08/2021 21:36

Who cares? The guest list is my idea of hell.

Also don't get why people on their second marriage do the whole flowers, church, morning suits and white meringue dress. Looks like a re-run of his wedding to Lisa.

Sparklingbrook · 07/08/2021 21:36

@Plumtree391

Yes, Dec was the best man.

It certainly looked like a happy occasion. I hope they continue to be happy. The past is the past, people move on.

This is MN. People are not allowed to move on, ever.There are a handful of slebs that just cannot be mentioned on here because of their past. Nothing can ever make up for it. Grudges must be held.
Viviennemary · 07/08/2021 21:37

Can't stand their very unfunny comedy act. He was determined to rub his ex wife's face in it by flaunting his new girlfriend at every opportunity. Once a cheat always a cheat. Watch out current wife I'd say.

Meh. Once a cheater, always a cheater. But they probably both cheated (Ant and his new wife I mean) so good luck to them.

Not True. I was a cheater but I got my shit together. Don't judge what you don't understand.

I don't get the intense hate towards Ant. He did some bloody stupid things but he's pulled his shit together. What's so hard to get? So he cheated, drank, could have done much worse. He got happy. Can't we just let him be??

Theunamedcat · 07/08/2021 21:38

Apparently my neighbour is a fan i commented defending the ex saying it was a non story (in the fail about her throwing shade at his wedding) because she liked a tweet not tweeted anything not gone on a Katie price drunken rampage she liked a tweet my neighbour responded that Lisa had done so much damage and harm to poor ant Hmm im not saying a thing about it because my neighbours nice but seriously? She liked a fucking TWEET

Crockof · 07/08/2021 21:40

Drink driver escapes real justice and gets married, clap clap.

BrilloPaddy · 07/08/2021 21:40

They both looked happy and I hope it works out for him.

He and Lisa both had their demons, and have appeared to both get help and moved on.

Anne Marie looked beautiful in her dress, think it was Suzanne Neville?

CovidCorvid · 07/08/2021 21:43

@Sparklingbrook

The ex is apparently at a hotel in Snowdonia with her boyfriend and her millions. And presumably looking forward to being Head Make up artist on the new series of Strictly. I doubt she'd want anyone feeling sorry for her.
New bf also much better looking and also not an alcoholic. Win win I would say.

I couldn't care less about his marriages but I don't think a drink driver should be allowed back on prime time Saturday night family TV like a returning hero, no. Drink driving is a hard no from me.
Funnylittlefloozie · 07/08/2021 21:45

Is Ant the drink driving one?

TheGenealogist · 07/08/2021 21:45

@OverByYer

What is there to say? Looked like they had a nice time.
Pretty much this.

Middle aged celeb marries some woman, with lots of other ITV "personalities" in attendance. Meh.

He had drug and alcohol issues that she supported him through he got her fired from her job because its uncomfortable for him he shagged and married their friend there are two things I find absolutely cuntish and unforgivable drink driving and fighting with her over the fucking DOG seriously he had everything including the public rooting for him just give her the FUCKING DOG

I actually feel empathy for her because her every move is marked out as a slur against her ex or reaching out to her ex baiting her ex the drama over her makeup line name was hilarious he just happened to be on holiday in a hot country and the name was released it was a sunny palette tropical themed this was seen as trying to align herself with her ex....makeup takes months to create market and produce she isnt going to be able to do that in three days just to get attention from her ex she goes out its because of her ex she gets rid of stuff free to a good home its clearly aimed at him moves house "can she go any lower" selling the "home they shared" clearly just to "get back at him" working on strictly so she can "stay in the limelight like ant"

She looks like someone getting on with things the papers are the only ones not letting go

Totally agree. Cheating was bad enough but he should never be allowed on a family show. Money talks though.

FrankiesKnuckle · 07/08/2021 21:49

Who really cares though?!

We don't 'know' him, her or the ex wife.

Sleb gets married (again). End of.

Orchidflower1 · 07/08/2021 21:50

Sorry bold fail- I’m rubbish at that!

Bit miserable of you. "NO! If you get married twice for any reason at all the second wedding should be as un-weddingy as possible, how dare you enjoy yourself in a traditional wedding fashion? SUITS? For a SECOND wedding? You can have chinos at best. And no fucking flowers, flowers are for first wives only." Hmm
Raffles1981 · 07/08/2021 22:26

Yeah, you are right. Because we can't just turn him off and forget. God forbid he try and get some life back. How do any of us know how he feels about his behaviour before he got clean? Who's to say Lisa was innocent? Who's to say any of us have any right to judge when we are far from perfect? He made mistakes, she made mistakes. They both seemed to have moved on and got better for it. Jesus. Keyboard warriors at their best here Biscuit

He chose to get behind the wheel drunk. You bury a relative, your mother or your daughter or someone you care about, because some selfish prick thought he could do as he damm well liked and then, only then, can you slate keyboard warriors.

You apologist make me sick.

Agree. People have short memories.
KingdomScrolls · 07/08/2021 22:44

From people who've worked with him alcohol wasn't the only issue and he is far from the persona he portrays. More fool her is my only view.
