This has been a wild ride made substantially more entertaining by DBs shenanigans but the end is in sight.

Hopefully by 8.35 the car will be free. I will be downing something alcoholic and next time the straw comes I'll make him bring it in by hand one bale at a time WITHOUT unlocking the gate!

I'm going to go for dignified and just let him out and convince myself that him moving it at all makes this a draw my victory. He no doubt will do the same and we'll both potter off happily into the sunset hopefully never to meet again!

I would have to simply say nothing except to tell him he is the rudest and most entitled person you’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with, open the gates in silence then lock them immediately afterwards.

He is so rude. His constant wanting it his way with the times, then showing up anyway at a time you said you werent in and the lack of apology or shame at all. What a horrible person. Also what has he been doing without his ranger all this time? I imagine work and running the kids round (or more likely dropping them home to their mum on Sunday night in his case) is made a lot harder without a car.

Jesus this guy takes the biscuit. Even in the last day I've driven (well, DH has) 6 hours to Scotland (not Montrose!), dealt with DD's carsickness, got a ferry, checked in to a lovely caravan. Explored a bit. Done some yoga on the deck and got attacked by midgeys.

Got a takeaway as been a long couple of days. And now am pleasantly squiffy after a couple of glasses of red. Hoping and praying this CF will just pick his car up and accept his shaming like a man.

Of course he's going to be late, controlling weed of a man.

I'm far too invested in the outcome (and the DB....along with 99.99% of the others on here!) am hoping the silence means OP is giving him just five minutes of her mind the CF whilst slowly opening the gate for him to move his scrap!
