I wanted 3. I've got 2.

I wanted 4 or 5 ...I have two and a step daughter, I won't be having anymore, last pregnancy almost finished me off 🙃

Wanted 4, have 3. Always feel like one is missing.

Wanted 6 but had 4 once I realised how expensive they are lol! Boy, boy, twin girls ❤️ loved being pregnant and baby, toddler and child years 😊 but work full time and I'm still broke 😂😂

Wanted 2, got 1 rainbow baby after losing 3. Decided we couldn't go through the heart break again and I've mostly made my peace with it though still think what if sometimes. 🙂 X

Also wanted 6 and have 4 - yes to how expensive they are and also am just so tired!!

I have 2 and feel very blessed to have them. I didn't get married until I was 37. Ex boyfriend before I met my husband to be, didn't want to get married didn't want children and also went out with other women! We never lived together but I went out with him for over 16 years!

Wanted 4 a long long time ago. Then in my 20's wasn't even sure I wanted any kids.

Now have 2 and that's enough. Had I had my 2 in my 20's I may well have wanted another 2 in my 30's. so 2 close together followed by a big age gap. The again. But not an option now! Not sure I would have done that though even if I could. Hard going back to the baby days!

My grandmother told me that I always wanted twin boys I can’t recall that anyway I wanted 4 & have 4 youngest are twin boys.

Wanted 4, got 3, desperate for number 4 but it looks increasingly unlikely to happen.

I wanted 4. Have two (twins) and DH is adamant that there’ll be no more mini muchtootireds. We’ve got 2 embryos in the freezer and I’m finding myself thinking more and more about them.

Wanted at least 2 but potentially open to more depending on how everything goes. Have 1 atm and pregnant with no.2. Pre-DC1 we were planning a very small age gap e.g. 2 yrs or less, but parenting DC1 changed our minds on that score and there will be 3 and a quarter years between them. Doubt we will have more for a few reasons - space in the house, my career, finances, and my physical health (had HG first half of pregnancy one, same again this time except also got PGP now in the second half, and I already have a weak pelvic floor from my first pregnancy and instrumental delivery). Plus also just maybe not being bothered to go through all the baby stage 3 or more times.

Wanted 2, ended up with 4. Wouldn’t be without them now but they’re very expensive and I definitely won’t be having any more!

I really didn't know how many I wanted! More than 3, less than 8 maybe!

I have 5 now. First 4 (all boys) born in my 20's and had another boy last year just before I turned 41!
I am most definitely done now!

Wanted 4 have 3.I absolutely loved being pregnant and the years when they were little.Had my 3 in 4 years.

Wanted 4 and have 3. I was pregnant with a dc4, but I miscarried and lost my confidence- we didn’t try again.

Wanted 3 but got 2. Have 3 step children too (older) so I get the lovely joy of big family occasions, and watching them all grow (but still wish I'd pushed for number 3... but hubby was done!)

Have 1 wanted 2. Would love to have been able to give DD a sibling
