I wanted 3. I've got 2.

Never thought about it as I didn’t think it possible (health issues). Delighted I got pregnant with 1, wanted more, had two mc’s, went into menopause at 39 so I’m done. Very very happy with how it turned out (one).

Wanted two. Have one and won’t be having more as DH decided he was one and done.

Thought I’d have 2. DP talked me into a 3rd.

Just read through all the posts and just want to say how sorry i am to all those who have suffered miscarriages or still births and to those who have lost children 💐

You have 3 and you're pretty miserable you had them?

One would’ve been enough, have 0 after failed ivf and miscarriage.

May adopt once we get our heads in the right place.

Always wanted four - I have one. But am happy with my lot!

@sametoo. I was early thirties. Asked my GP, he agreed to it and it was booked in. I don't think it's so easy these days sadly. No ill effects afterwards. It was a great decision for me

And after my first I was constantly broody. Had 2 mcs between him and DD and had just started to be investigated for secondary infertility. As soon as she was born my broody switch flicked right off. That ship has sailed. Parenting is so hard.

Early days of DD I was adamant that I couldn’t go through it again and there’s a nearly 4 year gap between her and DS.

Since DS I said absolutely no chance at all I can put myself through the pregnancy, delivery and recovery again. I wouldn’t be able to cope. So now we’re done.

Wanted 2 have 2. Still get broody for the baby stage but definitely don't want anymore, it's hard work and the age gap would be too big now.
