To think friend googling the cost was uncool?

I'm going to view a new car soon and was mentioned it last week to a group of friends within a conversation about someone else new car.

Saw that same group of friends last night and one of the group, Alice, mentioned the appt and said she'd had a look up and did a kind of a plumber's teeth suck about the cost.

And I said something shruggy about it is what it is.

AIBU to think she was being unreasonable?

I would have Googled it. I am with Twixxed as I am constantly checking out how much people are selling their houses for on Rightmove.

Some people just involve themselves in your business, and want to express an opinion. It is just nosiness, and I think it is also a bit intrusive and rude.

I don't understand the leap to thinking this is a personal criticism. £100 might be nothing to you but little trouble to me. You can suck teeth & I can shrug it off. Unless it's drug money, who cares?
