@Iamthewombat

Stop trying to out do the bridge

No! Don’t fade into the background. YOLO, one life to live etc.

Accessorise with a steel suspension and some pillars. And some lights.

I'm dying here 😂😂😂😂

I promise I have not consumed one drop of wine or other alcoholic beverage this evening. I have my doubts about some of the others who have posted on this thread.

@CatOfTheLand has the best suggestion so far!!!

JSL52 · 25/07/2021 21:15

@Roadtrip2018

To wear as a guest?? Nope it's a bridal dress Hmm
Think it might be a joke 🧐
Futureself · 25/07/2021 21:19

Maybe don't wear it with a white hat? I believe Raquel Welch was accused of trying to upstage the bride at her son's wedding. You don't want to innocently make a faux pas.

Ah, it's a joke! Um, in that case perfect! Grin

HugeBowlofChips · 25/07/2021 21:21

Are you sure you have the tits for this?

Laiste · 25/07/2021 21:22

Way too safe.

@CatOfTheLand

Or if you're set on wearing white with a red colour pop, this is nice:
Look in the background of the picture, that one is perfect.
WeAllHaveWings · 25/07/2021 21:29

Oh I don't have a partner.
It's my EXDH's wedding.

If it's your ex-Dh don't buy new, you must have something you've only worn to a wedding once before, maybe at the back of your wardrobe in a dress bag or in the loft in tissue paper 🤔. Perfect time to rewear and his family probably won't recognise it.

Ilovesandwiches · 25/07/2021 21:30

You’ll look a bit underdressed if I’m honest..

Pieceofpurplesky · 25/07/2021 21:32

Don't forget to take lots of fliers with photos of your wedding to exdh to hand out too. A lovely touch. Or confetti with your face on

Pinkandpink · 25/07/2021 21:36

A wedding guest? Your joking, that looks very bridal to me. I’d be well pissed of If someone turned up at my wedding in this and you know it.

VillanellesOrangeCoat · 25/07/2021 21:36

I opened the thread preparing to say it wouldn’t be appropriate, but actually I think it’s perfect! Agree with PPs, keep the veil Flowers

Foxhasbigsocks · 25/07/2021 21:36

It’s a great dress op. Perfect for a wedding.

bigbaggyeyes · 25/07/2021 21:37

Not sure about the shoes what colours are the bridesmaids in? Maybe you could colour co-ordinate with them?

billy1966 · 25/07/2021 21:41

I love it, ....modest, subtle, yet displaying a a quiet, determined confidence, that others may have not suspect you had!

I think this ensemble will mark you out as a prominent member of the bridal party,... which should help mark the wedding day out as one to remember.....surely what every bride would appreciate.

PS...I SO love the red shoes/fascinator suggestion👍

AmyDudley · 25/07/2021 21:43

It's perfect - I wore something very similar to my sister's wedding, and everyone complimented me on it.

Very good point actually. A wee dry clean should do the trick. Perhaps OP could wear the one in the picture for the ceremony and then change to her original for the party 🥳
Whydidimarryhim · 25/07/2021 21:53

But why when there are millions of other dresses out there.
What would you think if you where getting married and someone wore that.
Are you aiming to be the centre of attention.
Do you not like the bride?
Do you fancy the groom?

ArabellaScott · 25/07/2021 21:53

@LtDansleg

If you wear that to a wedding even the cake will be in tiers
ta-boom tish
bruffin · 25/07/2021 21:56

@imamule

What's the point of this thread though?
People post can I wear this dress ie pretty white dress with flowers etc, nothing like a wedding dress, then half a dozen not very bright posters say not because it's too white Hmm
Twilight7777 · 25/07/2021 21:57

I really hope this is a joke

Ohdofuckofdear · 25/07/2021 22:00

No not to much white if anything not enough White!

How do you feel about dying your hair white to match the dress?
