@Mischance

Definitely inappropriate as a guest. I would be seriously peed off if I was the bride. Get yourself something different; you cannot go as a pretend bride for goodness sake.

@imamule

What's the point of this thread though?
Me thinks, if you need to ask, this might not be the place for you
HelloDulling · 25/07/2021 19:39

Do they do it with a lower plunge front? You don’t want to fade into the background.

imamule · 25/07/2021 19:39

Wouldn’t everyone go for converse with that dress? Just to be edgy?

Nah, more like a sad low heel that's comfortable but at least it fits the dress code (lets ignore it looks shite!).

beinglikedisoverrated · 25/07/2021 19:39

Wow, bet you'll look lovely! Hope you're partner will be wearing a suit?

Ratched · 25/07/2021 19:39

@AlfonsoTheMango

Keep the veil and carry a bunch of flowers so you have something to do with your hands.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
PrincessNutella · 25/07/2021 19:40

Why would you wear it without the veil? It would be like cake without frosting. It's a wedding, you want to be dressed up, not down. Go for it!

imamule · 25/07/2021 19:40

@Twickerhun what do you mean? If you see my first comment I clearly get the joke but what's motivated it?

RhodaDendron · 25/07/2021 19:40

Amazing. Definitely needs a bouquet. Along with red accessories I think massively heavy eye make up and a very red lip?

Oh I don't have a partner. It's my EXDH's wedding. We get along great Grin

@LtDansleg 🤣🤣

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 25/07/2021 19:40

Is it your wedding? Lovely bridal dress.

TheNextCaroleMiddleton · 25/07/2021 19:41

Am wondering who’s wedding you are attending, DB totally weird (and I’m from Norfolk), ExDP go for it 😂😂

Jellykat · 25/07/2021 19:41

Knockoneofftheshelftowin · 25/07/2021 19:41

It's just not white enough. Perhaps leave it to soak in GloWhite for a few days. It would be perfect then

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 25/07/2021 19:41

I just think with different accessories you'll be fine.

you wouldn't want to look like a bridesmaid...

LifesNotEnidBlyton · 25/07/2021 19:41

You'll need a hat OP. But see what the mothers of the bride and groom are wearing first, you don't want to clash with either of them.

Queenoftheashes · 25/07/2021 19:42

I think you need to dress it down with a denim jacket and some trainers or the bride will take it as a veiled threat

HuckedF · 25/07/2021 19:44

It's perfect Grin

Starjammer · 25/07/2021 19:45

Absolutely. If you can't go all out at a wedding then when can you?

AlwaysLatte · 25/07/2021 19:46

Perfect! Make sure you snog the groom at every possible opportunity, too!

Still1nLove · 25/07/2021 19:48

You will look stunning, definitely won’t upset anyone 😁

AlwaysLatte · 25/07/2021 19:49

Oh just seen this. Forget the snogging. But DO get up during the speeches and make your own, tailored for your ex DH. After lots of bubbly, obviously.

ThinWomansBrain · 25/07/2021 19:49

So desperate to be a bride, you'll be trampling everyone else under your res stilettoed feet to grab the bouquet?

Ylvamoon · 25/07/2021 19:50

I think you need to accessorise the dress with an lovely blue handbag.

The tassels will add a bit of edge to the dress. (Can also be used for fly swatting- if wedding is outdoors! )
