I’m fed up with the word ping.

I’ve seen it so many times on this forum over the last few days the word doesn’t even look right anymore. Even worse- pinged! No one was pinged. You can’t ping a person. Ping is a sound.

There- I’ve used up the entire “ping” quota for the rest of the century. You’ll all have to think of a different word to use now.

I agree with you, to an extent. I am OK with the use of it but sick to fucking dreath of hearing it.

I'll take ping and pinged over jab and jabbed.

If I hear the word jabbed one more time, I am going to want to show the perpetrator the true meaning of the word jab by viciously poking them in the sodding eye.
