AIBU to think very few people still sit on a Stokke Tripp Trapp chair as adults

This high chair is very expensive, if buying new. But the selling point is you can use it forever, from baby till adult.

AIBU to think that very few teens or adults still use their hight chair to actually sit on it, and the chair probably gets passed on to relatives/friends with children, or get sold.

YABU - I (or my DC) still sit on my Stokke chair as an adult.
YANBU - I (or my DC) am not using it since I can sit on a normal chair.

I had to sit on one all evening to watch the England match (sodding dog was in my usual spot and MiL in my “other seat”)

Off topic, but I can't believe you sat on a chair you were finding uncomfortable (for whatever reason) because a dog was in your preferred seat.
