To ask if nose piercings on men are naff

Because my 20 year old ds is getting one tomorrow and I can't talk him.out of it.

Really, have you been living under a rock. My adult ds has piercings, you get used to them.

My DS 18 has one, he likes it so it's all that matters (I have mine done but don't wear it anymore)

No, I think they look good if it matches the rest of his style. I’d rather be friends with a man with a nose ring than someone who thinks it’s ‘feminine’ (so what if it is?) lower class or common.

I think they can’t be pretty hot. It’s personal taste, nothing to do with class, sex or gender.

I know a few guys with them (straight guys, as it happens) . Nose piercings haven't ever been particularly fashionable for men, so the men I know with them tend to be fairly unconventional with their own sense of style. For that reason I think it looks good on them.

They’re not so naff that my judgment goes out the window - I’ve met some men’s sun women with all sorts of piercings and they cover the whole spectrum from really lovely to tossers. Nothing to do with piercings.
I do think they look awful though.

I think they look naff on everyone but I wouldn't try to dissuade someone from having one, because clearly a lot of people do like them and they don't do any harm.

I don't like them on anyone but that's just me. It's up to him if he wants one, not really something you should be talking him out of at 20, if he's paying for it himself.

I just paid for my ds firt tatt, that way i knew he would get it done at a decent place. Didn't get told about the piercings lol
