I can’t be the only one who thinks his wife is more attractive?! She’s got gorgeous red hair and a lovely figure, this Gina woman looks ten years old than she actually is, is haggard looking, obviously a smoker and looks as though she could do with a good feed. Being too thin is massively aging.

Sometimes I really don’t understand men?

@CovidCorvid I can think that as a possibility. If Michael Gove had been Prime Minister throughout the pandemic, I am sure there would have been none of the inactions and late responses, and thousands fewer would have died, even though the motivations for restrictions would have been from there nasty streak Mr Gove has.

Have people still not got this?? It’s contracts for millions and millions of pounds given out to her and her family. A few snogs in the office and a few shags have set her and her extended family up for life. (Although she’s already married to a millionaire, you never know that business could be in trouble due to Covid and she thought Plan B, was well worth it.)

I have read all that. So yes, I do get it.

I agree. But then Gina’s dh is 10x more attractive than Hancock.

Guess it’s the excitement of the affair…..or a personality thing…..or just being a bit bored at home thing? I think a lot of the time people feel “neglected” by their spouse who is busy with work/kids, etc and get paid a bit of attention by someone else snd then boom!

It honestly all depends on what more the media have got. Are there any more bombs to drop, how long will the papers keep it on the front page. The longer it goes on, the more tenuous his position.

Also the fact that he’s not denied the affair it apologised to his wife makes me wonder if it’s actually pretty serious and there are feeling involved, rather just a bog standard affair? It will be interesting to see if they leave their respective spouses in coming weeks..

I wonder if Hancock has always had a massive thing for Gina since uni days which wasn't reciprocated, or at least not to the same degree? Has she always been the 'best' (female) friend, the one who Martha has always felt slightly uncomfortable about but had her concerns dismissed?

I also thought Gina's body language was interesting in the video. I thought she wasn't as into things as Hancock. Bleurgh.

There was a poll in 2019 on change.org for openness and responsiveness to constituents.

He came 650th out of 650!

What was funny was... I went to hustings days after the poll came out (it was close to 2019 election) and he was questioned on this and of course just dismissed it like it was nothing.

I have written to him on this MH situation. I doubt he will reply. The most I've ever got is an acknowledgement, not a reply.

Also worth considering that his wife has known all along, and they have an open relationship. The fact he didn’t apologise to her is very telling. Maybe she has her own bit on the side? You’d be surprised at what goes on behind close doors.

What gets me. What REALLY gets me is Boris saying 'I consider the matter closed'

Wow, I didn't know it was possible.

I had assumed that the MP for Shrewsbury who has sworn and raged at some of his constituents for having the temerity to volunteer at a sports event that happened to be in his way would be the worst. The best part of it was afterwards he continued to complain that no one had told him the roads would be closed, thus demonstrating that he is hardly ever there and doesn't read the local newspaper.

Apparently there are a lot of anti Covid restrictions marches in London this weekend - I suspect that these will be a bit livelier than normal after Hancock's behaviour.
