This is obviously awful for his wife....but the “Wasn’t me” video had me laughing out loud.

When he started singing about PPE I genuinely thought he was going to start singing about contraception and waving condoms around

I don’t think that’s a fair judgement. He is fairly good at being a minister, he will read his box (which is a lot more than some ministers I’ve worked with in the past).

Agree, the security Qs need to be fully investigated.

There’s already been the PPE fiasco, test&trace, bad value contracts (including to cronies). And (shared Cabinet responsibility) decisions, especially in early 2020, that meant UK had amongst the largest no deaths by population in the world.

Now sleazy cheating, at work.

In addition to the problems for his family of an ‘ordinary’ affair, his wife and DC will need to deal with the press / public interest (social media memes etc) and possible significant loss of income (minister’s salary).

If Hancock didn't get sacked for his woeful inadequecy in how care homes were treated during the pandemic, I can hardly see how he can be sacked for being a sleaze. No amount of fist pumping outside empty Nightingale hospitals fooled anyone working in social care.

Lets hope he chose better protection than the mythical ring social care got.

Its his wife-and the husband of his AP- I feel very sorry for.

I do not want to see him sacked over this. I want to see him held to account for his failings in post and for the lies he has told.

I don't think it was staged. Everything he does is awkward af and this is evidently no exception. I know politicians use distractions, but why would he agree to humiliate his family? I know cheating has done just that but he was getting something out of it.

Yeah, just looks like a stereotypical, awkward sleaxy office encounter. Ricky Gervais style awkward - The Office meets Thick of It.

I think by saying it was staged gives them both too much credit.

I think people with lots of money and status just think the rules don't apply to them.

This applies to both Hancock's personal life and his dodgy contract awarding in his job.

I have now switched around from giving MPs benefit of the doubt over so manythings, to, they are all dodgy, sleazy, egoists, unkind, inept[oh so inept], hypocritical[many of them], so prove me otherwise.

This has somehow proved the last straw for me.

That said this whole shambolic horror circus run by the clown and liar in chief Johnson is an utter shitshow cemented into power for the foreseeable by (if the polls are to be believed) an ever-popular PM.

Maybe Gove is behind all of this. He has a touch of Lady Macbeth about him. I can well believe he is plotting Hancock and ultimately Boris’s downfall. He wants to be PM, with Sunak as chancellor and Cummings as his chief advisor. Sadly I can see that being the case within a couple of years.

Gina doesn't seem as enthusiastic as MH on that video. He's going all in and she is kinda backing off a bit.

MH's wife has impeccable hair, chemist have know the story is breaking and had her hair done, good on her I say, she looks fabulous and is well rid of this sleezebag.

I feel the same. it astonished me. It isn’t good for democracy, Johnson and his cronies could do anything and they’d be people making excuses for them. It’s incredibly dangerous to let a government get away with so much shit!!

Johnson can’t sack a lying, cheating incompetent minister because it has been proven that Johnson is exactly the same.

And can people please STOP calling his “Boris” it makes him sound like a genial good old chap, who we all love.

I have a pet slug called Boris, he lives in the kitchen bin. He is a genial old chap, although a little slimy. Each morning he has one or two more children and nobody seems to ever know who the mother is.

I think it's a security thing according to a expert in today's papers.

Check today's Daily Mail, Chris Boyson who is Katie Prices ex, exposed them in a video 2 weeks after this kissing video. He filmed them together in a cafe alluding that they looked a lot more friendly than they should be.

Have people still not got this?? It’s contracts for millions and millions of pounds given out to her and her family. A few snogs in the office and a few shags have set her and her extended family up for life. (Although she’s already married to a millionaire, you never know that business could be in trouble due to Covid and she thought Plan B, was well worth it.)
