To think that a super king won’t be that different to a king

Please help settle an argument with DH. If you changed from a King to Super King, did you actually really notice the difference? Also, would you recommend a Super king?

I have a super king to myself. I’m staying in a cheapo hotel for a couple of nights with a standard double, and almost fell out of bed.

How anyone goes back to normal sized beds when they share with another person, I don’t know.

I haven’t read all the pages but a word of warning - check it will fit up your stairs, not just in your room! Ours technically wouldn’t so the guys wouldn’t take it up. We had to ratchet strap it to “bend” it slightly and take the risk it would damage it, then rope people in to shove it up with brute force.

Ah you've reminded me of the fight we had just to get the mattress up the stairs. Base was easy as that was in 2 parts but the bloody mattress! I thought I was going to have to take a saw to the bannister. Fortunately eldest DS was there to help me wrangle it albeit we were both somewhere between tears and laughter by the end.

When I move out I'm leaving it to the removal men to shift!
