No that is a load of shit and directly because of this boys will grow up with the expectation that they will marry, and their wives will be the ‘mother’. Or that this is what girls have to look forward to in their future.

FFS! My dc has been washing her own school uniform since around the age of 9, actually, but setting that aside, why would you assume that it's the child's mother who washes it? Are fathers incapable of washing school uniforms?

It's a joke and I quite like it when brands put quirky things on their labels. It's only funny because we are now horrified at attitudes like that, although the reality hasn't quite caught up with the attitude, unfortunately.

I might find it funny if it was a label on adult clothing, where it would be very clearly intended as a joke. I wouldn't be at all happy to have that on my kid's clothing.

I went part time to take on the bulk of childcare and chores when I had DC. My DP carried on working full time. This is the case for near enough every woman I know.
I wasn’t forced to become primary care giver but as my DC’s mother, I wanted to be
