Worst Human being you've ever known?

After life saving surgery at the start of the year I've been doing some soul searching and re-evaluating a lot in my life, and looking back it astonishes me that I put up with some truly awful people for so long, even when I knew what complete and utter unrepentant shits they were, so, can I ask, who is the worst Human being you have ever known and why?

My form teacher at secondary school. She was an evil bitch. I suffered almost daily bullying, not just names, but also being kicked, burned by fag ends, my bag/books being stolen etc. The bitch did nothing - she just blamed me for being "weak" and told me to fight back - classic victim blaming just because she was too lazy to tackle it. I started secondary school as a straight A pupil and failed all my exams 5 years later. I took great delight in telling her what I really thought of her when I bumped into her a few years later and she was trying to be all friendly.
@Sometimesfraught82 yes. I have a toddler. He physically and emotionally abused her. He's physically and mentally abused me to the point that I wanted to kill myself.. But I wasn't going to leave my daughter motherless. The day I left him my DD and I were taken out of his house by police and a social worker and I had 3 black bin bags. Have built our lives back up from nothing. He is not her father. Her father is dead.
Yes but in your post you say that you’d never wish anyone dead

Someone intentionally and seriously harm my child. I would wish them dead.

My sister's sister in law.
Gets into a relationship with a man and immediately puts her child into care to move man into the home.
Gets pregnant to latest man and when it ends and someone else comes along, into care that child goes.
So far she has places 5 unfortunate children into care.
She has no MH issues, by her own admission it gets her out of having to go out to work and the kids are the money tree when with her.
Absolute bitch.

Turbobaby · 05/06/2021 14:55

There are so many stories of really horrible people here. I really feel for those of you who who mention parents or step parents, it makes me so angry to hear about children being on the receiving end of this kind of behaviour.

Movinghouseatlast · 05/06/2021 14:56

My next door neighbour (ex) who raised a boundary dispute the day he moved in. We had lived there 20 years with the same fence in the same place. He knew we couldn't afford to fight for the land in court. He destroyed my beautiful garden border and laughed in my face ( literally) when I cried.

A vile builder I have just had to fight in court over some terrible building work. He lied in court to such an extent that I was left absolutely speechless. He told the judge that his daughter had killed herself, which she hadn't.

My dad was a cunt as well. Controlled and threatened my mum, she told me she had never experienced happiness since she married him.

Sometimesfraught82 · 05/06/2021 14:56

@Bluntness100

My step mother, she was physically and emotionally abusive to an extent she would have made the media and been jailed had anyone known. Persistent snd prolonged daily cruelty.

In hindsight she was clearly very unwell, which her mother did quietly tell me after one brutal attack where she had to come and get me, because her daughter thought I was actually going to die due to what she’d done.

she was infertile, and had multiple miscarriages and a still born, unable to have her own kids I suspect made her abuse her own step children. However she was at it before she even started ttc as she deeply resented us. So in reality it’s good she was unable to bring another child into her shit storm of a life.

I have no forgiveness. She is without a doubt thr worst human being I’ve ever, ever met. No matter how fucked up or ill she was.

You were so brutally attacked you almost died

It’s not just her. It’s all the adult in this scenario that should have protected you.

My ex's mother, closely followed by his sister and his father.
My ex was not much better as it turned out but not surprising really as his mother had physically and mentally abused him as a child doing things such as pushing his hand into an ironing press, throwing car battery acid on his legs and emptying boiling hot water from a hot water bottle over his head. His father beat him with an iron rod regulary.

When I got together with him she started verbally abusing me. The things she said were horrific. I stayed with ex because I loved him (but as it turned out he really wasn't worth it). I lost every shred of self-esteem I had , developed social anxiety and even now 2 years out of the relationship I am really struggling with mental health whereas I never had before. I'm finally going to go to the GP about it next week because I've hit rock bottom now.

Ex is now merrily living it up with his new girlfriend who is 22 years older than him. I say that as I was 12 years older than him and had no end of abuse from his parents and sister because of it and from ex whenever he wanted to throw something in my face. "You're old and ugly". "°I want someone young and pretty".
I do wonder how long he will be with his new girlfriend before he starts using prostitutes again, drinking every night and coming in shouting abuse, cutting her off from her social circle and deliberately making her feel insecure by telling her repeatedly that no one likes her.

As well as all of that his parents and sister were the worst racists, homophobes and anti-semites I have ever met in my life. They were in favour of gas chambers being brought back and anyone they didn't like being sent there.

Absolutely vile and hideous people and it's going to take me years to recover from the damage.

IMNOTSHOUTING · 05/06/2021 14:57

Didn't know them well but a friend's DC was very very intoTennis and played at a fairly competitive level (althoughstill unlikely any of these kids are going to win Wimbledon). There was a parent who would try to put off other children by shouting derragotory remarks at them (e.g. 'don't worry Harry this one can't hit) or couching loudly when they were trying to serve. I didn't believe it until I saw it for myself at a match.

IMNOTSHOUTING · 05/06/2021 14:58

@ihtwsf God I'm so shocked reading that. I really wish you well and hope you get alot of help when you visit the GP. You sound incredibly strong.

QioiioiioQ · 05/06/2021 14:58

@GypsyWanderer

My ex who I suspect to have narcissistic personality disorder or the very least, have a lot of the traits. Obviously the gaslighting, emotional abuse and general awfulness that you would expect with all narcissists but the worse was that I woke up to find him boiling my African land snail that I kept as a pet and then a while later I caught him smashing one of our pet mice to death with a bottle of my perfume. He’s by far the worst person I know in real life.
Very sinister!
crazymicrowave123 · 05/06/2021 14:59

My cousin, he caused £100's of damage to our house, assaulted me with my child in my arms, got arrested twice in our home and refused to pay rent for months. He had fights with his boyfriend in our home and lost a very expensive phone that I lent him. Oh and to top it off made up false accusations to get my dad thrown in jail for a night because he didn't like the fact that he'd been sent an eviction notice. He is no longer family to me.

HeidiHighLow · 05/06/2021 14:59

Wow some of these are horrific 😔
Mil came to mind although most people think she’s lovely. I would argue against that- kicked her son out at 16 as her new partner didn’t like him. At 16 Dh had to live in the roughest council flats other side if town alone - he was absolutely skint. I’ve seen pictures of him at that time and he looked like a skeleton. He’s 6.4 and normally around 16 stone he went down to around 11stone at that time As he couldn’t afford to feed himself.
At 13 his mum sat and watched him get battered by a group of around ten older teenagers and didn’t help him - he was in a bad way.
From 12 onwards Dh left alone every weekend while she went to her holiday home.
She is currently sleeping with a married man with children and openly boasts about how much he loves her.
She’s scum in my opinion and I cannot bear her and have nothing to do with her.
Dh still defends her 😔

nottoday3000 · 05/06/2021 15:01

My neighbour if we had a real life purge she'd be the first one I'd get...truly truly evil

ExhaustedGrinch · 05/06/2021 15:03

I know a lot of genuinely EVIL people who could qualify for the title of being the worst I've ever known. I'm shocked that some people haven't met any when I know so many!

If we're only choosing one person then I'll choose Lisa (not real name). She has done a multitude of horrible, evil things but the worst is that a male friend of hers raped someone. After the rape she went to the victims home and beat the hell out of her and threatened to kill her if she ever told anyone. She did tell a friend but she never went to the police because she was too terrified. As I say Lisa is an all round horrible person with absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever, no one in our town likes her but most are too terrified to do anything about it. I have my own personal reasons for despising her but I can't do anything about it (court let her off lightly in this case), although I want to physically harm her for what she has done I won't put my son through his mum going to prison, if it wasn't for that then I would!

My son played tennis quite seriously at one point and this was very commonplace. At a certain age, the kids have to call their own lines. One boy managed to get to the final with the most blatant calling out of balls a metre or more within the lines. Encouraged by his parents who stood by the fence coaching him during the match (also a big no no under the rules). (Aged 9), he knew all the tricks; walking over to get a drink between the opposition player's first and second serve in the hope it put them off enough to serve a double fault.

The two wonderful ladies that ran the tournament clocked this naughtiness and decided to act as line judges for the final which also removed the parents' opportunity to influence the game. Justice prevailed and the other child won the tournament easily. This might seem petty and irrelevant but it was quite a high ranking tournament and impacted players' invites to other high ranked tournaments.

Orgasmagorical · 05/06/2021 15:05

I'm a soft touch so I mostly have compassion for the bad eggs. Something awful must've happened to them to make it that way.

I was discussing exactly this with my Rape Crisis counsellor. My ex had an abusive mother so parts of his upbringing weren't the best but he knows right from wrong. What he did to me was deliberate. He chose to do what he did. He planned it. One of his actions had catastrophic consequences and he tried to get me to take the blame for it.

There are many, many people who have had bad things happen to them but they're not all paying it forward.

Why didn’t you talk to the umpire?

Some of these I just don’t get.

This is against tennis rules. In fact any sport rules really! But certainly tennis.

BlueLobelia · 05/06/2021 15:06

@Sometimesfraught82 I came across this person in my line of work so yes the police were well aware.

I see abysmal things every single day. but that one just got to me.

TimeTravellingToe · 05/06/2021 15:06

Sadly my own mother. I have never met anyone else as vile. I don’t have a single happy memory from my childhood and spent my teens contemplating suicide as I’d been made to feel utterly worthless by that awful woman. She has narcissistic personality disorder and other mental health issues, not a maternal bone in her body, and a hatred towards her children for “ruining her body”. She frequently told me she wished I was dead, and blamed me for all her ill health!

Sometimesfraught82 · 05/06/2021 15:07

A lot of these ghastly people are allowed to continue because so many just stand back and hope someone else deals with it

SmudgeButt · 05/06/2021 15:07

Ex manager of whom I can never think of without adding "may she burn in hell for all eternity".

Sometimesfraught82 · 05/06/2021 15:08

Obviously not talking about the tragic child abuse situations

You must feel so... alone Flowers

LuckyWookie · 05/06/2021 15:08

A man in his 50s who bullied me out of the group I attended for my hobby. I’m disabled and don’t get out much, the group was a lifeline for me because I had no other friends.
