Forgive me if this has been a topic of discussion in the past but following on from a recent thread in the for sale section of MN I was wondering what others thought about this.

It makes me so cross on the for sale board saying "will only sell to or prefer to sell to regular MN" I can understand they don't want any funny business as there has been the odd scammer on here ripping people off, but it puts newer members off asking anything in fear that they will get shunned! And even if you haven't just joined - when is it exactly does one become a "regular" MN?

I have come on here daily for approx 7 months now.... Although I haven't posted on all of the talk boards I have certainly posted on a few in the past and often browse topics similar to ones I may be experienceing at the present for advice. I mainly buy off the for sale board and have sold a couple of bits as well.

I feel there is to much cliqiness amongst the "regulars" which puts off some mums from ever posting.

Sarah x

I imagine having a fish in your handbag would be tantamount to animal cruelty though. So maybe numbers in your name would be better than that

WatsInSantasSack · 19/11/2007 14:26

Have you seen cods thread about this!

WatsInSantasSack · 19/11/2007 14:27

VictorianSqualor · 19/11/2007 14:29

Question 'And having a fish in your is great is it?'
Answer 'It's because of her fishlike memory, all the people with the number three become the same person, so you are now infact one part of a ten person personality.'

VictorianSqualor · 19/11/2007 14:30

Ooops wrong question
Question 'still waiting for the reason why I have to BIN THE NUMBER?'

WatsInSantasSack · 19/11/2007 14:30

LVoC is that just pretence though? To make everyone think you're healthy?
It may help me stop eating cake every thread you are on though, LadyVictoriaofSpinach would be awesome if you don't mind.

3missyshohoho · 19/11/2007 14:32

Well I clearly can't see the point here so I shall go with my big number 3 in my name and chat to others who aren't insistant that i get rid of it.
