I HATE my wedding dress

I'm getting married next month, my dress has arrived and I hate it. I need to find a new one and fast. Please help?

I have toyed with the idea of non-white dresses, at this rate I'm open to anything. Ideally wanted a midi length pale dress that doesn't look like a bridesmaid dress (The one I have bought is blush and floaty and bridesmaidy). :( :(

I'm a big fan of ghost dresses ( I have one) and they look gorgeous but that AP dress in my opinion is simply magical on you, I would be sticking with that and not wanting to take it off. For me it has a slight grecian feel so I would go for a gorgeous tumbly curly banded up do, I'll try to find a pic. That dress is perfect on you.

I think try the Claudia in the smaller size if the fit of the top is better than the overall silhouette will be better. It is not as flattering as the Salma but how you feel is as important as how you look. The simplicity of the Salma is part of what makes it so stunning. But you need to feel amazing in it.

Having looked on my laptop and not my phone I'm now seeing what everyone else sees about the ghost champagne and now its my favourite... more weddingy and makes your figure look AMAZING. Yep.

Personally think the Ghost Salma is the best regarding shape for your figure out of the Ghost dresses. Regarding colour get the one you think suits you best, as it’s difficult to tell on a screen. The champagne Ghost dress looks more of pink shade on my IPad.

I think I would be doing these dresses a disservice if I didn't pair them with lovely elegant heels, only I'm really not a fan of heels, especially high ones hence the original plan of midi dress with nice flat sandals.

The only heeled shoes I own are either chunky shallow heeled boots or platform sandals - is there such a thing as elegant platform sandals?

@xela21, I hate wearing heels, but I found really comfortable medium heel shoes by Clarks. Unfortunately now they only seem to have them in black and navy, but they may have similar shoes available:

I wore them from noon until 2 am and was absolutely fine. And I never wear heels. Not even little ones.
The thing is that a floor length dress will cover most of your shoes anyway so choose something comfortable. One of my close friends wore 11cm gorgeous satin shoes, but you couldn't really see them under the dress anyway and after the ceremony she changed into trainers as they were so uncomfortable.

If you don't usually do heels I'd hesitate to choose your wedding day to start. Sorry hopeless at links but here's a screenshot of some sandals that might go with the AP dress (especially if you go for a Grecian style band for your hair)

Just to say the 2nd champagne coloured dress looks lovely ( sorry late to the party if you have already chosen )

Also if you can't find a pair of shoes - a tip - you can buy some for the said day and let's say you have some fabric from the dress where you have had it taken up -- there are people who will cover your shoes in the matching / that fabric . This may not be what you want but just a suggestion. If you want a more glittery sandal - my suggestion won't work

The shoe that @somethingischasingme posted would be perfect if you don’t usually like to wear heels - it’s low enough to be comfortable and the block heel makes it very secure and easy to walk in. It’s a beautiful shoe!
