I HATE my wedding dress

I'm getting married next month, my dress has arrived and I hate it. I need to find a new one and fast. Please help?

I have toyed with the idea of non-white dresses, at this rate I'm open to anything. Ideally wanted a midi length pale dress that doesn't look like a bridesmaid dress (The one I have bought is blush and floaty and bridesmaidy). :( :(

Champagne Ghost gets my vote!

The silver (claudia) ghost dress is in S which I didn't realise is a 10 (I thought S was 8, XS 6) and oyster (salma) ghost dress is XS - the XS did fit better generally but the straps (is that even the right word) kept wanting to fall off my shoulders.

I wish I could try them all in the right size AP in a 6, and both ghost dresses in 6-8 rather than 8-10 but I suppose this is the trouble buying online!

Still very torn. AP Champagne probably complements my skin tone the best though I appreciate comment upthread saying it wasn't particularly bridal.

I'm not sure which of the Ghost dress colours suit me better or which style I like more.

The Salma ghost dress looks perfect in terms of colour and shape on your figure. I think the silver ghost dress is not nearly as good a shape on you it makes you look larger overall and the higher neck and the gape on the chiffon is not nearly as good on your boobs. Also the silver just doesn’t look special enough. For a casual candid shot the champagne ghost looks spectacular and makes your skin glow and your figure look flawless.
The AP has a beautiful sculpted look and your figure also looks amazing.
I would take the silver ghost out of the mix, I think even sized down it’s just not beautiful enough.

I think with the right accessories you could make the AP look very bridal.

Also if you look purely at your silhouette the silver ghost blousons over the narrowest part of your body which is a mistake I think whereas the champagne ghost emphasises it.

The pinker/warmer colours look best and of those two, I think the Ghost dress is the best shape for you, though the other one is also nice.

For me, there is no comparison - the AP one is so much better! It looks so classy.

The AP is beautiful, with a little altering I think it would look very special, it's warmer with your skin tone too

The shoulder slipping thing can be sorted fairly easily by a seamstress - you just need them to sew in some tiny loops of ribbon inside the shoulders which attach by popper around your bra stras - and then the shoulders will stay in the right place.

The champagne ghost shows your waist best, and the high waist makes your legs look longer. Also loveliest colour. The AP shows your waist too but is not so young and fresh looking as the Ghost. The silver ghost isn’t as good for your figure IMO.

If you want to try on other sizes then I would order via John Lewis as they have easy delivery and free returns, you can then hunt for it cheaper if you like one of them…. (Sorry JL)

To be honest on reflection I think the ap one is best too.

I missed the first one(AP)! That one is absolutely amazing.

From the photos I would discount the silver one as I don’t think the colour is the right one for your colouring.

I would keep the 8 in the AP otherwise if you return it for the 6 you risk it being skimped where you don’t want it to be skimped . I think get the size 8 professionally fitted and hemmed when you have decided on your shoes. Then I would have the champagne ghost for a dress change in the evening a seamstress could adjust the straps so they don’t slip.

You looks amazing in all three dresses. I'd vote for the second ghost one, but only slightly. Pick the one you feel the most comfortable in. With hair, makeup flowers you'll look stunning.
And if needed shorten the dress you choose after you have the shoes.
