I HATE my wedding dress

I'm getting married next month, my dress has arrived and I hate it. I need to find a new one and fast. Please help?

I have toyed with the idea of non-white dresses, at this rate I'm open to anything. Ideally wanted a midi length pale dress that doesn't look like a bridesmaid dress (The one I have bought is blush and floaty and bridesmaidy). :( :(

I have bought the champagne gold Adrianna Papell one as nowhere nearby stocks it and I think this is my favourite (feel like it will be more forgiving with curvy contours..)

In two minds whether to order the Ghost dress too or not - torn between Salma and Claudia, also unsure if I'd be a small or extra small, toying with the idea of one in S, other in XS - just a lot of money to spend at once especially knowing I will only keep one!

Thoughts?

Ghost accept PayPal and Klarna, both of which allow you to do payments in 3.

(PayPal only sometimes gives the option, I'm not sure why, but if it's available for this purchase, it'll show up as an option at checkout. Klarna is set up for payments in 3).

That way you don't have to fork out the whole price to try on at home.

Definitely order the ghost dresses until you have tried on on it is difficult to explain how good the cut and feel is. They do a pretty miraculous thing on curves.

I would go small rather than xs in the Ghost sizing then it will skim better then if you need a fraction taking in a seamstress can make it flawless.

Anyone have experience with Klarna (in particular, their pay in 30 days)?

How exactly do I do this - make an account, place an order - Ghost dresses should arrive tomorrow (eek!!) then return 1 or both if they don't fit without having to pay at all? Not really sure what Klarna gain from it if that is the case

@xela21 yes I use Klarna loads. Essentially you order your items, once they’ve arrived you decide what you want and return anything you don’t. The retailer then sends you a revised invoice and Klarna will send you a link to pay through.

It’s all very easy and straightforward. Some retailers also offer you the option to split your payment into 3 instalments through Klarna if you prefer.

OP This is the XS in the Silver ghost dress on a real Size 8 woman

The benefit is that retailers will sell more as people will purchase things before payday and then pay once they’ve been paid. Plus basket values tend to be higher as people order more than they usually would if they were having to pay it all upfront. For example, I wouldn’t usually buy jeans online as I’m not sure of the fit but with Klarna I will just order two sizes and keep the pair that fit so they’re getting a sale they ordinarily wouldn’t have

Yes of course, it’s exactly the same as ordering normally, you just pay once you’ve decided rather than at the point of ordering. If you don’t like either then you won’t pay anything. But also if you have the money in your account and don’t mind waiting for a refund there’s not really any added benefit.

What colour is this dress? I definitely have more of a tum and boobs than her though, she's lovely and slim but I can see its clinging on to her non existent tum (this is a slight worry for me! I'll have to invest in spandex for sure.. thats a whole other question - how comfy is that on your wedding day! )

She’s wearing it the other way round. So the cowl back as the front. Very versatile.

It’s 100% polyester and it will look it in person. They look like they’ve just used a phot from the Needle and Thread website, it will look cheap up close
