To ask you to avert a war and name our new kitten...

Today our new overlord kitten came to live with us.

There is outright war between the DSs over her name.

DS1 wants Twix Or Elektra
DS2 wants Karamel or KitKat

The only thing they could agree on was that she either needs to be named after a biscuit/chocolate or have a K where there should be a C (this is due to the name of our old chap who we lost)

Having exhausted my peace keeping abilities I turn to the wisdom of mumsnet (with the half-hearted approval of the DSs) to declare her name.

The secret hidden option is to get another kitten and let them name one each

So AIBU to stealth boast about how adorable she is ask you to name her?

Fabulous kitten! I agree with Jaffa - good name given her colour. But if it has to be one of your kids suggestions I'd opt for Karamel.

What about Kara?
You have to think about how you will sound to neighbours (if you have them) when calling her in and Kara is quite a short name.
Whatever you call her she’s purrfect 😻
