To ask you to avert a war and name our new kitten...

Today our new overlord kitten came to live with us.

There is outright war between the DSs over her name.

DS1 wants Twix Or Elektra
DS2 wants Karamel or KitKat

The only thing they could agree on was that she either needs to be named after a biscuit/chocolate or have a K where there should be a C (this is due to the name of our old chap who we lost)

Having exhausted my peace keeping abilities I turn to the wisdom of mumsnet (with the half-hearted approval of the DSs) to declare her name.

The secret hidden option is to get another kitten and let them name one each

With those stripes it's just like a Kustard Kream, Krusty for every day use!

I'm useless at names, but just wanted to say how beautiful she is! I did an involuntary gasp when I saw the first photo ❤️

We named our similarly coloured kitten Tango, he could do a mean one too but not now he's a staid old ge tleman.

I'm voting Kira purely because I'm / my kids are watching way too much lion guard on Disney plus atm. Gorgeous kitten.

Krunchie would suit how she looks but I like Twix as a name!

See I've just been calling her cat whilst the debate rages so I've suggested Kat. Short. Simple. But they aren't fans.

I like lots of these suggestions though so not sure this has helped lol!
