How many loo rolls do you get through a week

Am I being unreasonable asking the above question.

I've just switched to a more expensive brand than my usual brand but it is more eco friendly. While working out if it is financially viable I was wondering how much loo roll everyone else goes through ?

About 1 a week. One adult and one child, both out all day at work and school.

2 adults and 2 children, we need to replace most days so I'd say we use about 6 rolls per week of asda own brand

Family of 4, here - 2 adults and 2 primary school aged children.

Before lockdown, I've used 1 roll every 6 days, but that was because we were out of the house most of the time (work and breakfast/after school club). Since lockdown, we probably use one roll every 4 days.

We have a downstairs loo, an en-suite and a main bathroom and I probably change the rolls every other week? I’m not sure but definitely not every week.

1 a month (2 in household - not in U.K. and have toilet shower attachments here)

About two rolls a week, 2 adults. I have noticed the inner tube but is bigger and they are less tightly wrapped now. Less loo roll and the claims of 80 sheets a roll has disappeared. We’re being loo roll scammed.

I think about 2/3 a week. I get the cheeky panda bamboo toilet roll in bulk from Amazon and the box of 24 lasts us about 2.5 months. Only 2 adults but both wfh so here all day everyday at the moment!

When just hubby and me at home we use about 1.5 rolls a week. Now DD is back from uni it has more than doubled.

Two a day sometimes more

DDs 16 & 19 - 1 a day at least

Myself, DH & DS 11, 1 every 2 or 3 days

I think the DDs eat it

2 adults 3 kids. About 8-10 rolls a week. Older kids in school, youngest 3 days at nursery and me out at work 3 days. Dh working from home.

About six per week, per person. That's with supermarket own brand ones. If I get the Cushelle double rolls, it drops to about two or three per week, per person.

It is not the sort of question that will give you a useful answer though. Some people need a shit several times per day, others can go two or three days between them. Some people "wipe to beige" and others like me wipe until there's nothing left to wipe. And you have to factor in the size of the roll, the last Poundland pack I ever bought was good for about one shit per roll.

Go through 9 a week, 2 adults, 4 teens and a 6yr old.

If I go to sainsurys , which is not often, I get own brand (big bulky rolls) and only do 4 a week.

Fuck me, are people eating it or something? I mean, it's not a competition as to the smallest scrap you can wipe your arse with but even so...

@rbe78 yes!! I have already brought them, mostly because they look beautiful but I've been so surprised how long they last!

Usually one a day and now one every three days.

Are these a separate to the toilet or a all in one thing?

If separate how do you get from one to the other without drips ?

A lot, but we do not ration it and trust that all people in the household are only using what they need. I’d hate to live amongst the toilet roll police on this thread!

I’m staggered reading the replies to this. I don’t consider that I’m stingy with my wiping, but with 2 adults and 2 children at home, we don’t get through anywhere near the amounts a lot of these households get through. What on earth are you all doing??!

You would faint if you knew how much we go through.

We had some cheaper stuff as that's all I could get, and it was thinner so had to use more per wipe! Cheap loo roll is a false economy, but I can't believe how much some people are going through!

So 4 kids, 2 adults, we get a 12 pack of those cheap toilet rolls once every 2 weeks but dh has ibs. When we get the expensive stuff a 6 pack would last nearly 3 weeks!
