How many loo rolls do you get through a week

Am I being unreasonable asking the above question.

I've just switched to a more expensive brand than my usual brand but it is more eco friendly. While working out if it is financially viable I was wondering how much loo roll everyone else goes through ?

3 adults, sometimes 4. 4-5 a week, was more when we all wfh

Just me at home usually all day- a roll lasts me around a fortnight. Do use good quality roll.

I have absolutely no idea! I'm guessing about 3 every two days, but I don't know whether other people in the house use more than I think.

Honestly it feels like 10 a day 🙈 two adults and 2dds, the youngest is two and still learning to wipe properly. I think about 5 rolls a week maybe up to 7

I think we use 13-14 rolls a week. I need a lot because because of the way my bowels work. My DP and DD blow their nose on it constantly.

We average just over one a day. One per 21/22 hours maybe?

Maybe 2 a week but we have a bum gun so I tend to use that and then a bit of toilet paper just for drying Grin

DH doesn't use the bum gun as much but men generally use less toilet paper than women...

The Kirkton (? - Costco) big pack is quite good. I just got some from nice one from Ocado and think they Costco one was thicker and better

I’m staggered reading the replies to this. I don’t consider that I’m stingy with my wiping, but with 2 adults and 2 children at home, we don’t get through anywhere near the amounts a lot of these households get through. What on earth are you all doing??!

A lot but i have IBS and heavy periods so that accounts for quite a bit of it! There's people who poo less times in a week than I do in a day.

1 adult, 3 DC here half the week, about 1 roll. A friend of mine goes through about 7 or 8!!! Two adults and 3DC. I can't gey my head around it!!!

There are 2 adults 3 children and we go through roughly 24 a month. Which I've just realised is nearly 1 a day Shock

I just buy a pack of 24 at the start of each month with my food shop.

I honestly have no idea, although probably should I suppose. I do think it's an item open to false economy though, when some of the cheaper rolls are so thin.

Never thought I'd be saying this but I do have a new favourite toilet roll actually; Cheeky Panda bamboo rolls, eco friendly and ridiculously soft, thick, and last a while.

I don't actually know. We've got 3 toilets and all get used. Youngest in nappies and 3yr old mainly we use toilet wipes. She does use the toilet roll for pees. I just buy a big pack of 18 I think it is and that lasts maybe 4weeks to a month.

Five adults and we get through roughly two rolls a day.

It also depends on the type of toilet roll you use, we’re using a different brand from normal at the moment and getting through it a lot quicker, probably three rolls of the new one to one roll of the old brand. It’s not as densely rolled. As soon as I can get the old brand again I am switching back!

2 adults here and we get through a roll every 1 to 2 days. But I have a bowel condition so often go multiple times per day and also use it for blowing my very runny nose

Like some other posters, I have bowel issues and very heavy periods so I reckon 0.5 / 1 roll a day. (2 adults in the house both WFH)

Is it Who Gives a Crap? Had exactly this convo with a friend a while ago who was looking to swap. I went through my orders and worked out we use ~60 of the double length WGaC rolls a year (2 adults plus occasional teen SCs).

We use the 'luxury' bamboo rolls rather than the standard recycled ones. PM me if you want a referral code!
