Half a million for a house in Gateshead with nowhere to park, no outside space, backing onto a high street, with decor that needs every single bit ripping out and burning?! It'll still be on the market in five years. Absolutely hideous.

It would make an excellent film set for horror! Music is best bit-Carmina Burana by Carl Orff if no-one has mentioned that yet.
I wouldn’t survive 5 minutes in there what with tripping over the doors, falling down the spiral staircase and being impaled on that strange giant prickly sphere- not to mention the Dalek!
But I am sure it is someone else’s dream home

Doesn't look like a comfortable place to live. So sterile and uniform. After so much white and steel and chrome, the few bits of colour look out of place and unappealing. Not for me!

I’m. OST offended that the listing says ‘formally’ the coop when it clearly means ‘formerly’. Details, people, details.

It’s like a cross between a prison, submarine and a school canteen.

bloody awful, you couldn't pay me enough to spend a week living there let alone move it, it's truly hideous.

I love the estate agent who thought of setting the video to “O Fortuna”! I love that piece of music but the lyrics seem to fit the ghastliness of the house. Lack of privacy, hideous toilets, no natural light, reminds me of that film where they’re all underwater in that research facility with The mad intelligent killer sharks trying to break in. Could not enjoy cooking in that kitchen, would probably border anyone I shared the house with after a few days...

I quite like some of the windows and doors, but the colours are hideous and boring yet too much at the same time. Impressive amount of house for the money though!

Where would you put any actual stuff - general things like any of your belongings?

Also, is that 2 toilets in that bathroom separated by a sink? 1 public toilet seems bad enough but 2 next to each other seems so much worse.

I think one is a bidet. But why have it so far away from the toilet?

And the bidet they have in the bathroom with the white, bubble-shaped toilet really needs a hook for its little shower head attachment. I wouldn't want that just sitting in the bowl.

The lack of windows! I could feel myself developing claustrophobia just looking at it. Hideous.

All it is missing are a few drains in the middle of the rooms so the blood from the many many murders that have happened in there can be effortlessly sluiced away

The random spiky ornament on the floor in the corridor, with everything else so sterile, made me think of a bomb (or a submarine mine?)

I did like spotting the Dalek in the last few seconds of the video. Doesn't seem to be in any of the photos- maybe they're taking it with them!

It's just so sterile. Pity the poor sod who has to clean it.
I used to be a cleaner in a modern shopping centre. Had the never ending task of trying to make the stainless steel stair banisters and panels and the lifts gleam 6 nights a week.

This really needs a floor plan as I can't work out what's where. I love the idea but would hate to live there.

This is round the corner from me..it is way, way, way overpriced like much nicer and less random houses metres away sell for about 150k less...

Hmm, I wonder what it is about your surroundings which makes you so desperate to try to convince yourself of that?

I love it! cannot believe it's.£500k, that wouldn't buy a very average 3 bed terraced here.
