That can happen in reverse.
I remember when my son was a teenager he and his friends were shocked to find that the long haired 'hottie' they'd noticed was in fact, when she turned roynd, an eldeely neighbour in her 70s.
I think the poor love was traumatised as she looked young from behind!
There are lots of women with long lockdown hair who look youthful from behind and it's a shock to see they're not that young when they turn around.

My hairdresser was super on trend when they were open and everyone left with sharp, straight cut hair. It suits some people but when I'm paying that much for a cut I want something that suits my face shape not what's on trend.
