I'll start:

High waisted trousers with crop tops
Lip liner that goes over the top of cupid's bow

Agree with the cheap, fake panelling.

RedToothBrush · 26/03/2021 16:02

Salted caramel and alcohol going out of fashion!?

Don't be fucking stupid.

toconclude · 26/03/2021 16:02

@LemonadeFromLemons

Dark blue or green painted kitchen cabinets, dark coloured wall paint and velvet furniture.
Our velvet furniture is 110 years old...
Iremembertheelderlykoreanlady · 26/03/2021 16:03

What about shitipoos? Can they fuck off? (Along with all the other ridiculous made up names?)

Hopefully the trend of paying £000s for a crossbreed/mongrel just because it has one of said ridiculous names

SunsetBeetch · 26/03/2021 16:03

MLMs
Makeup that takes hours (i.e. lots of it, with contouring and highlighting and heavy eyebrows and overdrawn lips).

MrsExpo · 26/03/2021 16:05

Taking pictures of absolutely everything with your phone
Twitter
Exaggerated false nails
Another vote for grey houses (looks across at neighbours house as I type ..... Shock)

Cactusowl · 26/03/2021 16:05

Weddings where the men wear Peaky Blinder style suits and flat caps.

1FootInTheRave · 26/03/2021 16:06

Face and lip fillers
Caterpillar effect fake eyelashes
Gin
Those daft poses with pouty mouth, chin down and a wonky leg
@flapjackfairy It's the new magnolia!

Pampas grass. What's happened? It's EVERYWHERE!
don't people know that generally advertises you're into swinging??!! Not in the garden on play type equipment either. Wink

HereIfYouNeedMe · 26/03/2021 16:06

@lubeybooby

highlighting the philtrum under your nose, thinking that's your cupids bow, (it's not) but it just gives the person a glowing shiny white hitler tache
Hahaa
Grenlei · 26/03/2021 16:06

The bloody MDF panelling.

I need to stop following DIY on a Budget on FB; if I see one more panelled wall I may lose it!

Also...

Grey everything
Glitter everything.
Coloured kitchens, especially dark colours. And grey.

Paper bag waist trousers
Skinny jeans (especially on men, and especially the ones that look like they've been sprayed on)

Palmas grass in the front garden mean that swingers live there.
And windchimes.

JillsFlapjacks · 26/03/2021 16:07

Tik tok
Panelling in modern houses
Having everything in labelled boxes. I mean specifically those Hinch type "script" font labels. Twee as fuck.
Chunky trainers

babbaloushka · 26/03/2021 16:08

Fake eyelashes that look like they've glued a centipede to their waterline.

likeamillpond · 26/03/2021 16:08

Miss Piggy type eyelash extensions.

They look ridiculous on.
Especially if the person has small eyes.

CleverCatty · 26/03/2021 16:08

Please can someone get rid of Katie Price, Gemma Collins et al.

Way way past their sell by date.

DB actually made short films with both MIC and TOWIE casts a couple of years ago and said they were all ok!

PrincessNutNuts · 26/03/2021 16:08

Flying

Spiders on lashes they look like.
Chrispackhamspoodle · 26/03/2021 16:09

Fake berber rugs (I have a fake berber rug)
Navy walls (I painted over mine last month...it kept chipping and oh goodness the room looks better light)
Words as wall art.

Snowisfallinghere · 26/03/2021 16:09

Well, skinny jeans are already out but of course most of us are still wearing them, although I've stopped now as I don't find them comfy anymore. I wonder how long until they go from being established but not cutting edge fashion, to being properly dated looking. It's such a distinct silhouette, with the carrot shaped legs, I can see that look being very defining of the late 2000s and entire 2010s. It's already something that Gen Zs associate with being millennial fashion.

LaceyBetty · 26/03/2021 16:10

Some of these may go out of fashion, but I doubt anyone would be embarrassed that they drank prosecco or ate salted caramel. I agree with the previous poster who referenced those tight shiny tapered joggers that young men seem to be wearing. Also bad quality leggings that are see-through.

babbaloushka · 26/03/2021 16:10

I also think "obvious" make up will fall out of favour. I know some consider it an art but without talent it just looks cake-y and caricature-ish.

CleverCatty · 26/03/2021 16:10

likeamillpond - I know an acquaintance who has pampas grass in front of her garden. She and her DH definitely aren't into swinging, they said to me 'it looks nice innit?!'

likeamillpond · 26/03/2021 16:10

@Spied

The grey hair look on those under 40.
Yes.
CleverCatty · 26/03/2021 16:11

huge gold pineapples as some sort of statue.
