Geometric paint patterns on walls done with duct tape over lockdown.
Have been sat this afternoon eyeing up my wall and thinking “maybe I should decorate”. Thank you for making me see the light.... I’ll put the masking tape back down Grin

"Wine o'clock"
Gin

I think alcohol and drinking to excess will eventually become frowned upon similar to smoking. There are increasingly, especially over the last year, available non alcoholic alternatives. I think being healthy is becoming more "in".

Posing with your tongue out- don't even know what that's about- seems a thing teen girls do.

I agree. Drinking is already pretty unfashionable, so that will soon be a thing of the past for many of us.
Beseigedbykillersquirrels · 26/03/2021 15:53

@LysistrataVickers - in my experience, the non alcoholic alternatives of which you speak are disgusting. Almost as expensive as the real thing too. If I'm not drinking I'll have a soft drink, not some gross fake wine or gin.

The Little House on the Prairie / nighty style dresses.

Massive white trainers.

Ridiculous sweeping brush lashes.

I dearly hope that the natural look comes back in, a bit of blusher, a lick of mascara and tidy eyebrows. Anything like the trout pout/arse implants and teeth veneers makes me think TOWIE/WAG wannabe Hmm

I can't believe, since I started to really begin to take notice, just how ingrained alcohol is in British culture. Recently a friend of mine posted on social media that they had not had a drink of alcohol for three months and instead of praise (or indifference) nearly every, single post was along the lines of: "Why?" or "Celebrate with a Prosecco" or "You'd best be drinking at my birthday, lady".
