How do you clean your bathroom? Help, please

So frustrated. I do have adhd and anxiety so dunno if this is normal or not but feel so thick and stupid.

When cleaning the bathroom, I seem to end up with loads of drips running off the edge of the sink for example, it's clean water but just so sloppy looking. I use kitchen towel to mop it up.

I use a sponge for the sink and shower but for the loo I use kitchen towel or if the sponge is about to be thrown away I'll use it. But what do normal people do?

Do you have a sponge that's just for cleaning the loo separate and how long do you use it before chucking? It fucking grosses me out to think of having a loo sponge even though the loo is actually very clean. I do use a loo brush to give it a scrub it with a toilet cleaning product but that's the inside - when I say I use paper or a sponge for the loo I mean for the seat and around the top part to make sure no dust.

Feeling clueless and frustrated. It's trivial stuff but honestly I just want to be able to efficiently whip round my bathroom and have it clean and sparkling and neat, so can anyone give me sensible foolproof tips?

I hate cleaning, but like us all, want a clean house...

Better to wash & reuse them than bin them, but still bears knowing about that microfibre cloths shed lots of plastic fibres every time they are washed. Lots of pollution added to water supply & environment by choosing to use them.

I just don't like the idea of using a cloth or sponge for toilet even if it gets in the wash straight away.
I use anti bac wipes for the toilet and will alternate sometimes and use paper towel with anti bac spray or a cloth that's going in the bin,

I use sponge for the sink and bath/shower, and a chamois cloth to wipe away all excess water.

@Lantanacamara 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮 what on earth, that's so gross but why didn't they do the sink first and then the toilet last????

Did anyone else after reading this thread go clean their bathroom? Mine didn't need any cleaning done today, but I still went ahead and cleaned it 😂

Pre covid I cleaned the bathroom every single day, it was my morning ritual (I really was living the life, not) but I only did it because of unexpected item person at the door!! I mean it was never dirty, but I just needed to ensure everything was clean, dust free, smelling nice. It's great not feeling I have to do it everyday when it's not needed!!

Btw I discovered the amazing COLOUR ACTIVE Bloo toilet hanging thing, it colours the water inside the toilet, I bought the purple and blue one, I much prefer looking at coloured water than clear inside the toilet. We can't put the tablets inside the cistern that flush coloured water, so this is the next best thing for us!

Use a couple of washable cloths. Spray all over. Bleach down loo. Leave to work for a bit. Wipe down sink, shower, bath. Wipe loo last and cloth goes in a hot wash. Other cloth to dry and polish. Goes in hot wash.
Surprised with all the wasteful plastic sponges and disposable wipes used.
