My mil has said that because I'm 30 this year we'd better get a move on and have babies soon because otherwise I'll be too old.. Hmm

I'm having yet another miscarriage so this feels a bit of a slap in the face tbh. I know that the risk increases with age but I'm 30 not 50!

Aibu to tell her to go away and I'll have a baby when I've lost weight and if that's a year or so who gives a shit

30 (twins). I’m 34 now and we plan to start ttc soon.

Serin · 16/03/2021 19:34

27, 31,32.

Easterbunnygettingready · 16/03/2021 19:35

I had dc in my teens, 20's, 30's and 40's!!

RedcurrantPuff · 16/03/2021 19:35

32 and 35

kowari · 16/03/2021 19:36

22, to answer your title. You have a MIL problem, to answer your OP.

oohmyback · 16/03/2021 19:37

29,31 and 36. If I'd started later I'd have finished later. I'd never have been finished at 2.

So sorry for your loss. Thanks

JurassicShay · 16/03/2021 19:37

deethra · 16/03/2021 19:43

I'm so sorry for your loss!
I had my children at 27 and 29. And now at 36 (37 in may) we are TTC #3.
I think your MIL is being a little insensitive. At 30 you definitely don't need to be getting a hurry on. ❤

Graymare · 16/03/2021 19:44

16, 18, 29, 31 and 37

crispychicken12 · 16/03/2021 19:46

27, 28 (baby due month before my 29th)

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 16/03/2021 19:48

29 (and 361 days!) and 35.

I’m 42 now and would not want to be starting out at this age.

HmmmWhatUserName · 16/03/2021 19:49

Really insensitive of your MIL Thanks

30 is no way too old - I was 30 & 31 and I still didn't feel 'old' enough. At 46 I still look round to see where the adult is and realise it's me Grin

samandpoppysmummy · 16/03/2021 19:50

37 and 38

SunscreenCentral · 16/03/2021 19:50

31 and 38. Lots of time. MiL needs to mind her manners!

FunnyWonder · 16/03/2021 19:56

41 and 45.

You're at your lowest ebb right now, having a miscarriage. It's so hard. I had two early miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy during the four year gap between my children.

You have years ahead to conceive. Just concentrate on getting yourself through this very difficult time. Your MIL needs to mind her own business!

FTEngineerM · 16/03/2021 19:57

27 and 29

elscar · 16/03/2021 19:58

Wowcherarestalkingme · 16/03/2021 19:59

33 and 36. Sorry for your loss, your MIL needs to mind her own business

TankGirl97 · 16/03/2021 20:01

Sorry the hear about your miscarriage. No need to rush back to ttc straight away. I know for me, I waited several months after until I felt ready to try again. I was 31, 33 and 37 when I had my dc (and two losses when trying for #3).

4amWitchingHour · 16/03/2021 20:03

Had my first seven months ago at 34. Hoping we can have three kids. Your MIL can fuck off.

Frazzled2207 · 16/03/2021 20:05

35 and 37. The older end of average for my friends.
I married at 33 and my mum joked that I was a “mature bride”🤦🏻‍♀️

Figgygal · 16/03/2021 20:05

30 and 35

WhiteSquare · 16/03/2021 20:07

27 & 29

I’d like two more around 34 & 36

Your nowhere near too old

Roselilly36 · 16/03/2021 20:08

So sorry for your losses OP.

I was 29 & 30, my mum said I was too old too, don’t listen to a word of it OP, you have plenty of time.

Wishing you all the very best Flowers
