Is this homemade mothers day gift naff?

I am super close with my MIL and am on a tight budget this month and wanted to make her something special from me for mothers day. My DH has got her some little things and me and the kids made cards yesterday. ....

Anyway here it is she's got a great sense of humour and uses the word gobshite all the time.

If it's in MIL's taste then it's a fine gift.

Hard for randoms to judge as they don't know your MIL, so will just be judging based on their taste, which doesn't really help.

Only you know whether your MIL will like it. But it would be a no from me. Unless it was from one of my children (probably not when they’re grown up though - sorry).

I wasn't sure until I saw the 'gobshite" on a closer look! I quite like it! I wouldn't put it on the wall but I'm sure your mil will love it :)

The embroidered flowers are really sweet and I’d be touched someone had made it fir me, but only you can know if she’d be happy to put a swear word up on her wall

I personally think its horrible but you know what your MIL is like and if that's her sense of humour I'm sure she will love it.

It's a personal gift tailored to her personality. If I'd made it for someone I would just be pleased if it made them laugh, I wouldn't be particularly bothered about them putting it on a wall.

I'd put it somewhere only I could see it.

I love the flowers and I use the word gobshite frequently (there are far too many of them around) and would find this very funny. However there is no way I would ever display it.
