@NoIDontWatchLoveIsland beautifully presented 👌

NoIDontWatchLoveIsland · 09/03/2021 20:40

Queenpaw that doesnt look like enough calories for an adult. Its 6 quorn nuggets and a plate of lettuce and tomato

Amazed by the number of people subsisting off incredibly light meals with no carb whatsoever

NoIDontWatchLoveIsland · 09/03/2021 20:41

Ps mines just my pudding, I had breaded fish & chips and veg with the children earlier

Oblomov21 · 09/03/2021 20:44

This all looks yummy.

NoIDontWatchLoveIsland · 09/03/2021 20:45

Ham hock lady - you are winning for me so far.

Special mentions to tapas lady & anyone who's made their own sushi.

EpiphanySoul1 · 09/03/2021 20:45

@NoIDontWatchLoveIsland personally I’d be more worried about your dinner of breaded fish and chips and a huge bar of chocolate unless it’s a one off treat and you usually eat healthier.

QueenPaw · 09/03/2021 20:54

@NoIDontWatchLoveIsland it's a pretty standard meal for me to be honest! I often eat a salad like that with feta or roast chicken
I'm fat enough without adding more carbs Grin
I had eggs (2) and marmite rice cakes (3) for breakfast and a ham salad sandwich, protein yoghurt and banana for lunch so I'm well over 1200 calories

Chopped ??

Looseleaf · 09/03/2021 20:58

I love seeing these! Sorry not to contribute as joined too late and eaten ours but could try tomorrow as really enjoyed the mundanity yet variety!
(We had prawns and baked fennel and rice, with a token raw carrot as didn’t get round to veg)

QueenPaw · 09/03/2021 21:00

Feta salad tonight with roasted veg and some quinoa

I love these threads, wish I'd snapped a pic of mine. Had a Keralan veggie curry from a Meera Sodha book, with some brown rice. Delicious, packed with veg and flavour!

GrowThroughWhatYouGoThrough · 09/03/2021 21:10

Ooh, we had this about three days ago! It was really delicious! I wasn’t sure about the parsley and almost went and bought basil instead...but it worked!

Breaded fish, oven chips and vegetables. Its not a huge bar and I didnt eat the whole thing alone or in one sitting, I ate a serving (6 chunks).

Why? I'm a healthy weight, good blood pressure and no health issues, do plenty of exercise, no fillings in my teeth.

Honestly the competitive undereating on here is mad.

LouLou789 · 09/03/2021 21:21

We had low fat sausages, root mash, broccoli and green beans. The root mash was ready made so hardly time consuming. Tomorrow it’s baked salmon (I do it in a foil parcel with jerk seasoning) with rice, carrots and peas.

hansgrueber · 09/03/2021 21:27

No picture but just seen this thread so I'll describe yesterday's dinner. On Sunday, I'd done a roast chicken leg, roast potatoes, carrots, brocolli, stuffing and gravy, a treat in itself now I'm on my own. Yesterday I had the left over carrots and brocolli with the leftover stuffing and gravy, it was lush!

GrowThroughWhatYouGoThrough · 09/03/2021 21:30

@Totallyfedup1979 no basil in this one it was spinach

Etherealhedgehog · 09/03/2021 21:30

One of my faves, from a Sabrina Ghayour idea on Instagram - oven-cooked salmon seasoned with salt and shichimi togarashi, rice and a salad of chopped cucumber, tomato and red onion with a dressing made of sriracha, fish sauce and a bit of oil. Probably my week's allowance of salt in one meal but so good

WingBingo · 09/03/2021 21:41

Ooh, my kind of thread!

Tonight’s tea was a grilled mackerel and beetroot salad with a creme freche and horseradish dressing.

@GrowThroughWhatYouGoThrough

Ahh, I thought it was this one.
It had spinach and parsley, but I didn’t think the parsley would go. I was going to swap it for basil, but didn’t and it was delicious.
