I thought prince/princess was linked to being the son/daughter of someone in direct line to the throne and anyone up to Grandchild of the reigning monarch, nothing to do with colour! So no child of Harry’s would be a prince/princessbefore Charles was king.

It’s going to be Prince Philip making the skin colour remark, I doubt he’s ever met anyone he hasn’t insulted. For him it was probably a totally innocent question out of interest with no grasp of the consequences-the mam is 99 years old, not been seen for god knows how long.

What I found really interesting is the obvious role Meghan has played in persuading him to leave the RF. he said he wouldn’t have considered it had he not married Meghan (3 days before -shouldn’t the wedding therefore have been a blessing -what about the reading of banns, etc was this all adhered to? Genuine question., it was said this morning that it is racist to ask what colour the baby may be ?

So my son in law is Filipino and my daughter is very pale and blonde hair , I have heard them both discussing what their baby would look like , how dark , what are dominant genes etc ? Does that make him racist ?

Also if you have a very tall person in your family would you wonder if the genes would affect the baby ? But you might want the baby to be tall ?

It is not derogatory in every case ? surely just curiosity?

I must say I wondered with the mix of genes with Harry’s red hair what the baby would look like but I was happy that they got married , enjoyed the wedding , were pleased for them does that make me racist ?

I feel so sorry for Hazza and Sparkles - down to their last £30m. Can we start a GoFundMe for them?

I really feel for meghan. Gagged over the allegations, refused permission to seek MH support. Questioned over the skin tone of her baby and bullied in the national press. Not to mention the awful piers morgan stirring the pot relentlessly and whipping up hate.

Regardless of the fact that they have money, and have done deals (to help ensure their own security and pay for security outside of the RF) they are humans. People seem to forget that.

The behaviour of the palace not to correct stories, and timing of slanderous information is not how a family should behave towards its own family member and his wife and child. How sad would you be if your family treated you like Meghan had been treated?

How did she treat her own dad when he was very ill.She is no angel .She is an actress (i say that tongue in cheek) so she is good a playing a part in her case the victim.She could have got mental health support .Doubt she was locked in her room .And what is worse she could just like that cause she could afford it .Mere mortals have to go on a waiting list and a long one at that while their mental health does actually suffer .

The whole thing is ridiculous. I feel incredibly sorry for meghan and agree it all needs a shake up. But I've also read it now and happy to talk about something else.

If Harry wanted to marry a normal person and live a normal life, then he should have given up his titles and done so at the beginning.

Its unreasonable for him to be considered a prince when he is not conducting himself in a princely manner and holding himself to those high standards (and his chosen wife).

No it’s not racist to ask the colour baby, was Oprah being sexist when she asked what sex the baby was, surely in these days of equality it shouldn’t matter, or maybe she was, you know just asking a question

I do think picking sides is a bit 'school playground', however having gone down a few internet rabbit holes Megan does seem to fib a bit; and usually about things that could be proven wrong.

No one comes out of this in a good light, but instead of leaving open ended accusations they should name names so individuals have a right to defend themselves.

I don’t think half of you here realise the double standards you have! I remember well on other ‘Megan’ threads it was trotted out she was a horrible so-and-so she made Kate cry over bridesmaid dresses how awful, how disgusting, Kate had just had a baby, how could Megan do that to her.

Now Meghan comes out and says it was actually Kate making her cry and now it’s oh Megan what’s brideszilla, what a child bringing up being made cry, she’s nearly 40, grow up, she was probably over emotional because of her wedding.

It sounds like Megan was emotionally unwell during her pregnancy and Kate was physically unwell. I’m again only hearing sympathy for Kate and Megan apparently should’ve gotten on with it and phoned one of her ‘A-list friends’ therapists.
