What are your thoughts? Are they good for the mental health of mothers or damaging? Personally I know of a couple who are showing a veneer of an amazing life being a mother but underneath they are completely struggling and put out a completely false facade. Had I seen or be following these in the early years of my life I would have taken them to heart and questioned myself and my parenting. Do you follow or ignore?

I did it for a few months but it got too much and I ended up deleting my Instagram. I don’t really know what prompted me to start, I think it was the first lockdown and I felt so isolated and a bit bored. I saw some other people getting really cool free stuff so wanted to try it myself. The free stuff did roll in at one stage and I got some lovely things but it wasn’t worth the stress it caused tbh. I had one company message me if I hadn’t posted about their company enough that week and in the end, I felt quite suffocated and crippled by it all so deleted my account.

Just wanted to say it isn’t all that great. I also felt enormous pressure to take the best insta worthy photos all of the time which wasn’t healthy at all. I feel much better since deleting it.

That's what I notice from some of the home decor accounts I follow. They do a room up, then seem to take the same photos of it nearly every day, from slightly different angles. It's madness. I'm sure men wouldn't do that.
