3 trips to A&E with serve stomach pain possible endometriosis bladder retention (from separate on going issue) swabs taken from GP to send off then maybe consider gynaecologist referral.

To be told deal with it at home won't be doing nothing for me at hospital..
Go and see my GP.

Just spent 6 hours in A&E throwing up.

I cannot cope at home with pain and throwing up taking care of kids.

This is really effecting my mental health and I honestly can't do it anymore.Sad

Please any advice and experience!

Thank you to everyone who responded to me, i have read every single message..I really really do appreciate it. I totally understand that I have not helped this situation by leaving A&E it was not the best decision..

Something came over me being there in that situation I felt very very angry, angry enough to lash out... which would of been extremely inappropriate and disgusting which why I had to leave.. I sat in the taxi thinking of something I have never even dreamed of.. self harm.

I had to go home to my partner who has been so so supportive to me.

I've managed to squeeze out some wee not everything but I need to speak to my doctor because I cannot sit in A&E for the next 5 hours, to be made to feel like I'm lying, exaggerating, and being over the top.
The whole process has been soul destroying and has been alarming that so many women like me have been in this exact situation. ( I hope those who have/going through this make it out the other end)

Thanks again for everyone's support.

I understand the waiting is pretty dreadful but I don't know what a GP can do, apart from refer you to Urology unless they fit you with a catheter which I'm almost certain they wouldn't do. A few drops isn't enough, please go back to A&E.

OP while I sympathise with you, you have only squeezed out a few drops of wee since being at the hospital. That is not enough and means you need urgent medical attention.

Please go back to hospital.

A five hour wait in A&E is never fun but you'll just be spending the same five hour window at home, in pain, getting no better and potentially making things worse and harder to fix in the long run.

Can you see that? Those hours will pass by either way, it's up to you whether you use them to get better or worse.

OP I would ask your GP if it's possible to be referred to the Urology Nurse clinic - this usually as space in it for emergencies and they are excellent with the ins and outs of catheterisation, and in my experience they are a quicker route to a Urology doctor than through A and E.

Glad that you've had the support of your partner.
