Yes the guy lost his mother in a tragic way at a young age. (So have many) Yes he was forced out into the public eye in the middle of grief (which was horrific at the time and worse on reflection) BUT he is now an adult man with a family and access to life of extreme privilege yet he cannot seem to realise that him publically complaining about his lot in life and telling the rest of us how to behave is distasteful. Also, the petulant way he seems to communicate with the media is just undelining his immaturity and lack of awareness. By which I mean, the potshots in statements and rapping with James Corden and his pathetic man of the people schtick. If you want to be Hazzer give up your title and STFU!

Thats not true at all, if they’re well steered there are many areas they can move into that can make them money. Production, investing in other people’s projects, just off the top if my head. People with capital have a lot of choices.

Well you could say the same about Thomas Markle airing his grievances then. He is estranged for that, I doubt the RF will be so petulant to do the same to Haz. They seem to be being extremely tolerant with him so far.

They live in LA. Loads of people commute in everyday, my relative who lived there had a three-hour commute! Perhaps locals make a distinction but nobody else does.

I think that could work initially but thereafter you are then expected to bring more than money to investments of that sort. And that could be possible for them. But I don't think it's the easy route many people think it is. There are many competitors trying to do the same thing in LA.

Santa Barbara is 93 miles from LA or 1 hour 33 minutes drive according to googlemaps. There are many parts of the south east of England that would be referred to, particularly by foreigners, as being in London as referencing the nearest big city is more useful to non-locals and quite standard internationally.

Why you think there should be a special, internationally recognised rule on this only for California is a mystery. Added to that is that the mountainous terrain constrains building to the north west of LA to a narrow coastal strip.

Do you actually believe that British people think they live in the city centre of LA? I think to anyone remotely interested in the topic, its fairly obvious that they live in an extremely expensive location outwith the main LA conurbation but within the wider LA economic zone.

"The Queen of England lives in London" isn't exactly a little used phrase, is it? Even when shes in Sandringham or Windsor...

I haven’t watched the full show but I think he mentioned his grand mums Christmas gift. That’s hardly a grievance (although in MN post-Christmas threads it could be 😃)

And I have no problems with anyone airing anything really.

But for newspapers to print private correspondence without permission, well that does break copyright and privacy laws.

That’s 1.5 hours at 2am in California right now. In regular daytime traffic it’s closer to 2 — 2.5 hours of travel. Barely matters though because it’s still several counties away. It’s like people calling Liverpool and Manchester the same cities or Brighton and London the same for another reference.

Anyone (British) deliberately doing this is being obtuse and trading on people’s lack of geographic knowledge to push an agenda. You went to Google Maps, saw how far it was and still came back here to fight for the lie.
