Am I the only woman who has never been sent a dick pic?

I am, of course, in nothing but happy about this, but a lot of people talk about how women are constantly bombarded with obscene messages online.

Maybe it's because I haven't online dated since the turn of the millennium (yes, I'm that old)? Dick pics and horrible messages were definitely a thing then, but never got any.

I occasionally get random blokes trying to friend me or message me on social media, but I always block, so might have been dodging a bullet there.

I image there's no protocol, well maybe there is - the downers think they are morally superior to the uppers.

Are there sites dedicated to dick pics? Where they can be uploaded too and rated?

It is baffling why they get sent (unrequest). I think @Blibbyblobby is correct.

Do gay men send them unrequested to other men?

The only dick pick I ever got was back in the early 2000s. He was before his time! I think we were flirting on MSN messenger or by email 😂
Anyway we're still friends now and sadly I never actually got to see his dick in the flesh.

Not on a phone, but I was nearly 40, married, not inclined to chat with random people I don't know well and had got rid of most of the assholes in my life by the time we got smart phones, which I think were the catalyst to dick pics becoming quite so common. But I did get random emails back when spam filters weren't so good and I got plenty of sexualised harassment on usenet back in the day.

Some are flaccid and accompanied by an 'oops it fell out' or just taken in the bath with it bobbing up like a sorry looking bunch of teabags. Really unappealing!

I got an unsolicited one in 2006 after a perfectly lovely conversation via text / email that had been happening over a number of weeks. I was shocked (dear reader) and made my thoughts about that perfectly clear. What I was then more shocked about was the fact that he was shocked that I was (very) rude about it. I guess that was the beginning (to me) of how things are now (seemingly the norm). Desperately unpleasant.

No thank god. I have no idea why any woman would want one (certainly not unsolicited - I've been flashed once and that was grim, not sure how an unsolicited dick pic is much different).

It's the most unsexy thing. How have they become the norm. Fucking weird and grim the whole thing.

Has 1 from ex boyfriend, we both exchanged pics! That was a long time ago though.

Never received an unsolicited one. But I've basically been in relationships/married since I was 16 so never did OLD etc. I have several friends who've done OLD or got talking to men in social situations and after swapping numbers they've been sent them no.

Me! And I'm on OLD all the time! Never had a dick pic in 4 years on tinder. Have loads of matches and chats on there (and I don't think you can send pics through that app) but quite a few have also made it to swapping numbers/WhatsApp stage and never sent me their member, even if they did turn out to be wrong'uns otherwise.
If it makes a difference, I'm 47 and have dated / mostly talk to age 35-49.

I online dated in my late teens/early 20s and never received any, my only conclusion is I wasn't dick pic worthy. Even dh has never sent me one...
