It feels like I imagine a kick in the nuts would feel like.

I feel like crying every single time.

WTAF is wrong with me I'm annoyed at myself not being able to regulate my emotions

You seem to have developed a very random strike through habit too.

Crunchymum · 16/02/2021 15:59

Maybe random was the wrong word.

Lets go with prolific.

whatsnewpussycat777 · 16/02/2021 18:41

Thanks for the support crunchy Grin

Is it because she's such an evil lying woman?

SmokedDuck · 16/02/2021 18:44

I feel that way about the weather lady on my local radio station. She talks about the weather and I just want to punch her in the face.

suspiria777 · 16/02/2021 18:44

er, why?

Lollypop701 · 16/02/2021 18:45

Alex salmond is that you?

RightOnTheEdge · 16/02/2021 18:45

Crunchymum 🤣🤣
Sorry OP I've no idea what's wrong with you.
Is it like a proud, patriotic kind of emotion or more of a NicolaSturgeonophobia?

Barnicus · 16/02/2021 18:46

Because you always have a glimmer of hope before the announcement and it's kicked away from you every time?

Or maybe that's just me!

It's so frustrating-vaccines are going well, but no real end in sight, meanwhile business and mental health go down the drain!

whatsnewpussycat777 · 16/02/2021 18:49

Then I totally understand my friend, I feel exactly the same way too Grin

Roll on next week for the road map out of lockdown so we can feel it all over again!

Hueandcry · 16/02/2021 19:00

I don't believe she is evil @Clym

littlepattilou · 16/02/2021 19:03

She just makes me go Hmm Can't abide the wee woman!

Also, it's great how she goes on about Scottish Nationalism. But if anyone went on about ENGLISH Nationalism, they'd be called racist.

Typical double standards really, and xenophobia towards the ENGLISH!

Very annoying.

TheSpottedZebra · 16/02/2021 19:06

Oh no, the prolific crossing out disease is catching!

Will I get it? I really hope not

Clymene · 16/02/2021 19:07

@Hueandcry

I don't believe she is evil *@Clym*
Okay, fair enough. Calculating and ruthless then.
Ijustknowitstimetogo · 16/02/2021 19:07

Well whatever Queen Nic says Boris is sure to follow. About two weeks later usually.

user1487194234 · 16/02/2021 19:10

I am normally fairly calm an not easily rattled but I find myself getting really worked up before her announcements
I usually feel better when she has made the announcement no matter how depressing it is (and it usually is ! )

StoneofDestiny · 16/02/2021 19:30

and xenophobia towards the ENGLISH

That old bollox being rolled out again.

No anti English, Welsh or N Irish sentiment, just an aspiration to have a government that the population vote for, and not getting lumbered with Tories they don't vote for.

Hueandcry · 16/02/2021 19:30

Leaders have to be ruthless @clymene

I wouldn't be in her position for anything!

MaryLennoxsScowl · 16/02/2021 19:34

About two weeks later usually.

Just after he’s allowed something really stupid to happen like English schools going back for one day before being sent home so they could mingle all their Christmas germs.

MaryLennoxsScowl · 16/02/2021 19:38

I quite like Nicola Sturgeon, but my heart did sink today when she announced that adults are to continue to stay home and not mingle with more than one other person outdoors so that children can go back into classrooms and spread the germs of 30 families around each other. At least adults can (mostly) follow hygiene rules.

NuniaBeeswax · 16/02/2021 19:40

Always gives me a good chuckle at how posters on MN seethe about Nicola Sturgeon.

ssd · 16/02/2021 19:41

I wouldn't fancy her job.

Wingedharpy · 16/02/2021 19:42

I really want to come to Scotland but fear that Nicola will never allow us Sassenachs to cross her threshold ever again.
Do you think it would help if I told her I'm married to a Taysider?
Give her her due, she speaks with real conviction (even if you don't necessarily like what she's saying), and she seems to not have had a day off since this all started.
