Every fucking single time.

What is this sorcery she has over meSad

OP posts:

@NuniaBeeswax

Always gives me a good chuckle at how posters on MN seethe about Nicola Sturgeon.
I agree. I think it because she's female. And Johnson gets called Boris, like he's everybody's friend.

She's not getting it all right at all, but she's leaving Westminster standing.

IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 16/02/2021 19:48

OP because she has been guilt tripping you for a year. Even when they opened stuff here out came Jason Leitch and they would head tilt and say even though you can ask yourself if you really shouldddd.

Even when we had cases as low as 5 a day we could not have music in a bar. It's ok, think everyone is feeling it now.

Karmakarmachameleon · 16/02/2021 20:13

I’ve nothing against NS (and I’m not in Scotland) but I read about her announcement and found it a bit depressing.

The vaccine programme’s going so well so I don’t really understand why at least self-catering accommodation and outdoor hospitality couldn’t be open for the beginning of April. And I don’t really understand why she said overseas holidays are unlikely to be a possibility in summer.

Still, it’s great that the youngest children will go back to school next week.

Grilledaubergines · 16/02/2021 20:16

She’s an utter prick IMO. Making a mockery out of Scotland.

rawalpindithelabrador · 16/02/2021 20:19

I've had enough of her and her control freakery. Fuck that.

Nnameechanged · 16/02/2021 20:23

I wish I could listen to her announcements rather than BoJo!

peak2021 · 16/02/2021 20:24

Useful to know that not all English schoolchildren will return on March 8th, if the Scottish announcement is anything of a guide.

As for Nicola Sturgeon, I have some time for her and Pete Wishart was a good keyboard player, but as for the rest of the SNP, they are the best argument against an independent Scotland.

Ilovemycat13 · 16/02/2021 20:25

I just read Scotland will be in lockdown until April (daily mail, though) is this true? If so I’m so sorry ☹️

Eh?

I don't really get why some think she's so wonderful, she seems a very typical political opportunist to me.

backaftera2yearbreak · 16/02/2021 22:03

She wants what New Zealand have. She’s not totally in charge though. I was a supporter until about 4 months ago. Now the sound of her voice make me ill. It’s like she’s talking to naughty children. Now, do this or I won’t let you do that, you better listen now. I find her insufferable now.

underneaththeash · 16/02/2021 22:12

She’s really unpleasant OP. Maybe it’s dislike?

ssd · 16/02/2021 22:22

What I dont get is, if people get so worked up just listening to her why dont they turn the telly off??

I mean bloody hell

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 16/02/2021 22:23

Have to ask you op just in case

Are you actually Scottish and living in Scotland?

So wonderful if you answer no Grin

Ilovemycat13 · 16/02/2021 22:33

@ssd not really sure why the ‘eh’

It says online lockdown until April

frasersmummy · 16/02/2021 22:37

If.mn is indicative of real life, think Nicola sturgeon lost a lot of support for her lockdown today and no wonder

All numbers coming down, vaccine rollout going great why is she refusing to offer Scotland some hope for recovery

I had a cry today after the announcement
You are not alone

Hueandcry · 16/02/2021 22:53

@Travis1 par for the course on here Hmm

AgentCooper · 16/02/2021 22:58

I just don’t watch her briefings anymore because I find them so miserable. Especially the dragging out, the skirting around the issue until we finally get told what’s happening in the last 5 minutes. Why do that? Especially when every single big announcement has been leaked to the press days in advance anyway, it just puts everyone on edge.

I’d rather watch Bing.

StoneofDestiny · 16/02/2021 23:29

Yep - there is two on the go now. Maybe Johnson has good his foot soldiers activated 😂 (of course we all know what an outstanding leader Johnson has proven to be 🤬)

FredUpNow · 16/02/2021 23:32

I wish she'd tell me where people are catching covid. Or get someone else to tell us. She could start delegating.

FredUpNow · 16/02/2021 23:33

The conservative party have no footsoldiers.
