A friend accused me of being snoopy during Zoom/Teams meetings

I am long-term MN NC user.
English second language.

So to get on with it, I expressed to a friend I judge colleagues' background (e.g. type of wall paper, paint colour, decor, etc) during Zoom/Teams meetings, such as a laptop not on a desk or senior staff members with no home libraries or dedicated workspace.

Am I the only one who snoops into other's houses during meetings?

You sound delightful! How about just thinking how well people are doing working at home even though they dont have a home office or library and the lives they are potentially saving by doing so.Its not Through the Keyhole '. Get a grip!

I do feel wfh has made people more consious about their homes. I know some people who have been decorating to make sure there backdrop is professional.

With regards to what's 2021's backdrop, I think more personal ones. Instead of the default ones that come with Zoom or Teams, find ones that reflect you or your team.
