I don't really have the words for this so will just link to this story:

Poor children and surrogates

Hallyup6 · 24/07/2021 12:48

She's not a mum, she's the boss of a (albeit well funded) care home. She's deliberately put the children in that situation which, imo, is worse than many women who get their baby taken away by SS. She clearly has mental health issues and needs to feel loved. Her husband gives me the creeps, 57 with a 23 year old wife? We all know why. And what's he done to deserve a life sentence that he's managed to avoid by skipping the country? Dodgy as fuck.

Poor kids.

@Iqqq

I don't understand the problem?
How could you possibly not?
OhHolyJesus · 28/09/2021 19:26

Just read this. The child count is at 21. That's 10 more since the news article from Feb.

I really hope she’s got a contingency plan if he runs off with a younger lady in 5/10 years time. Poor woman.

“ In 2012, Öztürk was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Istanbul criminal court for allegedly inciting the murder of a company employee.

He denied the accusations and demanded acquittal, but later went into "self-imposed exile", Bloomberg reports.

Öztürk was previously married to Hülya Öztürk and had nine children, who live and Work in Hungry”

Poor children

SunscreenCentral · 28/09/2021 20:40

I'm not against surrogacy at all, let me be clear on that. But this seems monstrous.
If I had read that Goebbels and Hitler were involved it would make more sense to me.

Yes, or caught, tried and imprisoned for his alleged crimes, assets and income frozen and she is left without funds to pay for food, nappies or the 16 nannies.

Interesting that the number of nannies hasn't gone up even though the number of babies has almost doubled and continues to rise. There is probably another one due soon, the seems to be at the rate if one newborn per month.

(He has been tried, found guilty and sentenced already, I was referring to the additional crime of basically being a man on the run.)

OP posts:
Sparklybanana · 28/09/2021 22:57

They have 16 nannies - seriously - what's the point?
If I was basically 'lab grown' and then brought up by a nanny, I would have a lot of mental health problems. Everyone wants to be loved by their parents. I'm sure the father's adult children are somewhat aghast over their rapidly depleting inheritance too.

LukeEvansWife · 28/09/2021 23:02

On the plus side, they are in Georgia so we are not having to pay for healthcare and education

choixx · 28/09/2021 23:05

How is this allowed? why can't they at least spread them out a bit, non of this makes sense

CoffeeRunner · 28/09/2021 23:07

Those nannies are extremely poorly paid. 16 of them costing £67,700 a year combined!

choixx · 28/09/2021 23:11

and he's a murderer?

BlankTimes · 28/09/2021 23:46

Those babies are all very close in age.
Imagine their house when those 21 (and counting) kids are all teenagers together. Shock

dreamofaVWcamper · 28/09/2021 23:53

@LolaSmiles

There are no words.
Absolutely flabbergasted Think it's shocking Feel for the kids, how can you make any one on one special time with so many....one of 7 here so definitely know that issue,
dreamofaVWcamper · 28/09/2021 23:57

@JackieWeaverFever

Sad sad story.

Something is very wrong there.
She cannot realistically be giving good standard of care to 10 babies on her own...
Professionals in a nursery setting can't!

No doubt they've several nannies, cleaners, drivers, So to them they're winning...."hmm we're millionaires and can buy all/most things, what shall we focus on next....oh dozens of kids, that'll keep us relevant!" Total pair of tits!
dreamofaVWcamper · 28/09/2021 23:59

@FourTeaFallOut

"One surrogate had trouble giving up the baby but legally had no rights and had to hand it over"

Fucking hell. Scum.

The fact that she won't use her own body is appalling, they're no"Radfords" that's for sure!
ZealAndArdour · 29/09/2021 00:32

One of surrogate pregnancies resulted in triplets and one of those babies is disabled and in hospital in Turkey. Alone or with a nanny? Her name is Alena.

PrincessNutella · 29/09/2021 02:45

Well, this certainly shows why there is zero problem whatsoever with surrogacy, we can all move along now, nothing to see here.

PuttingTheLaughterInSlaughter · 29/09/2021 08:12

Not really sure what the "they're no Radfords" comment means.

I can't even understand why they want this many children, they're outsourcing the entire parenting experience from conception so it's not even like they just love having children and being parents. If that was the case they'd have one (maybe multiples if that's what the pregnancy resulted in) at a time and focus on raising that child at least through its new born stage before having another.

I can't figure out the motivation but I am sure it's not a good one.

I am against surrogacy in general, but the way this couple is going about it is absolutely abhorrent and I can't see how they can morally justify it to themselves.

forinborin · 29/09/2021 08:14

I read more of the story in non-UK news. I am pretty sure the mum is a victim in this story too.

forinborin · 29/09/2021 08:18

He’s taking advantage of all those women desperate for money, £7000 isn’t a lot for damage to your mental and physical health.
Where they are, it could buy a house, or be otherwise life changing.
If someone in the UK paid, say, £300K cash for the surrogacy, I am quite sure there would be a queue.

WeRoarSometimes · 29/09/2021 08:23

@OhHolyJesus
Thanks for sharing this.

How on earth is this even possible. This couple clearly are not looking to have a family and enjoy the experience of parenting children.
So many children.
How on earth are they able to meet the needs of children? Can they form a parent-child relationship with each child when there are so many?

It is almost seen as some sort of showman type experience - look how many children I have/ can have? Look at the size of my family.

Has the mum even had a say in all of this?
